1Nicht uns, Jehova, nicht uns, sondern deinem Namen gib Ehre, um deiner Güte, um deiner Wahrheit willen!
2Warum sollen die Nationen sagen: Wo ist denn ihr Gott?
3Aber unser Gott ist in den Himmeln; alles was ihm wohlgefällt, tut er.
4Ihre Götzen sind Silber und Gold, ein Werk von Menschenhänden.
5Einen Mund haben sie und reden nicht; Augen haben sie und sehen nicht;
6Ohren haben sie und hören nicht; eine Nase haben sie und riechen nicht;
7sie haben Hände und tasten nicht, Füße, und sie gehen nicht; keinen Laut geben sie mit ihrer Kehle.
8Ihnen gleich sind die, die sie machen, ein jeder, der auf sie vertraut.
9Israel, vertraue auf Jehova! Ihre Hilfe und ihr Schild ist er.
10Haus Aaron, vertrauet auf Jehova! Ihre Hilfe und ihr Schild ist er.
11Ihr, die ihr Jehova fürchtet, vertrauet auf Jehova! Ihre Hilfe und ihr Schild ist er.
12Jehova hat unser gedacht, er wird segnen; er wird segnen das Haus Israel, segnen das Haus Aaron.
13Er wird segnen, die Jehova fürchten, die Kleinen mit den Großen.
14Jehova wird zu euch hinzufügen, zu euch und zu euren Kindern.
15Gesegnet seid ihr von Jehova, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat.
16Die Himmel sind die Himmel Jehovas, die Erde aber hat er den Menschenkindern gegeben.
17Die Toten werden Jehova nicht loben, noch alle, die zum Schweigen hinabfahren;
18wir aber, wir werden Jehova preisen von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. Lobet Jehova!

2Por qué dirán las gentes: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?
3Y nuestro Dios está en los cielos: todo lo que quiso ha hecho.
4Sus ídolos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
5Tienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;
6Orejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;
7Manos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.
8Como ellos son los que los hacen; cualquiera que en ellos confía.
9Oh Israel, confía en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.

2Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

2Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.

5They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
6They have ears, but they don’t hear. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
7They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
10House of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
11You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
12The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
