1Non pas à nous, Éternel, non pas à nous, Mais à ton nom donne gloire, A cause de ta bonté, à cause de ta fidélité!
2Pourquoi les nations diraient-elles: Où donc est leur Dieu?
3Notre Dieu est au ciel, Il fait tout ce qu’il veut.
4Leurs idoles sont de l’argent et de l’or, Elles sont l’ouvrage de la main des hommes.
5Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent point, Elles ont des yeux et ne voient point,
6Elles ont des oreilles et n’entendent point, Elles ont un nez et ne sentent point,
7Elles ont des mains et ne touchent point, Des pieds et ne marchent point, Elles ne produisent aucun son dans leur gosier.
8Ils leur ressemblent, ceux qui les fabriquent, Tous ceux qui se confient en elles.
9Israël, confie-toi en l’Éternel! Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.
10Maison d’Aaron, confie-toi en l’Éternel! Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.
11Vous qui craignez l’Éternel, confiez-vous en l’Éternel! Il est leur secours et leur bouclier.
12L’Éternel se souvient de nous: il bénira, Il bénira la maison d’Israël, Il bénira la maison d’Aaron,
13Il bénira ceux qui craignent l’Éternel, Les petits et les grands;
14L’Éternel vous multipliera ses faveurs, A vous et à vos enfants.
15Soyez bénis par l’Éternel, Qui a fait les cieux et la terre!
16Les cieux sont les cieux de l’Éternel, Mais il a donné la terre aux fils de l’homme.
17Ce ne sont pas les morts qui célèbrent l’Éternel, Ce n’est aucun de ceux qui descendent dans le lieu du silence;
18Mais nous, nous bénirons l’Éternel, Dès maintenant et à jamais. Louez l’Éternel!

2Por qué dirán las gentes: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?
3Y nuestro Dios está en los cielos: todo lo que quiso ha hecho.
4Sus ídolos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
5Tienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;
6Orejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;
7Manos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.
8Como ellos son los que los hacen; cualquiera que en ellos confía.
9Oh Israel, confía en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
10Casa de Aarón, confiad en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
11Los que teméis á Jehová, confiad en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
12Jehová se acordó de nosotros: nos bendecirá: bendecirá á la casa de Israel; bendecirá á la casa de Aarón.

1Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
2Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

2Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
6They have ears, but they don’t hear. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
7They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
