AMO á Jehová, pues ha oído mi voz y mis súplicas.

Porque se inclina y escucha, oraré a él mientras tenga aliento.

Los lazos de la muerte me enredaron; el terror del sepulcro me sorprendió, solo veía problemas y tristeza.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Entonces clamé: «¡Señor, sálvame!».

El Señor protege a la gente sencilla; estaba yo muy débil, y él me salvó.

En mi desesperación he exclamado: «Todos son unos mentirosos».

Y ahora, ¿cómo puedo pagarle al Señor por tanta bondad que me ha mostrado?
¿Qué pagaré á Jehová por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

Levantaré una copa como símbolo de su salvación y alabaré su nombre por haberme salvado.
Tomaré la copa de la salud, é invocaré el nombre de Jehová.
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¡Cumpliré mis promesas al Señor en presencia de todo su pueblo!
