Wenig fehlte, so hätten sie mich vernichtet auf der Erde; ich aber, ich habe deine Vorschriften nicht verlassen.

Casi me han echado por tierra: mas yo no he dejado tus mandamientos.

They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

They had almost wiped me from the earth, but I didn’t forsake your precepts.
