1Dem Vorsänger. Von David. Auf Jehova traue ich; wie saget ihr zu meiner Seele: Fliehet wie ein Vogel nach eurem Berge?
2Denn siehe, die Gesetzlosen spannen den Bogen, sie haben ihren Pfeil auf der Sehne gerichtet, um im Finstern zu schießen auf die von Herzen Aufrichtigen.
3Wenn die Grundpfeiler umgerissen werden, was tut dann der Gerechte?
4Jehova ist in seinem heiligen Palast. Jehova, in den Himmeln ist sein Thron; seine Augen schauen, seine Augenlider prüfen die Menschenkinder.
5Jehova prüft den Gerechten; und den Gesetzlosen und den, der Gewalttat liebt, haßt seine Seele.
6Er wird Schlingen regnen lassen auf die Gesetzlosen; Feuer und Schwefel und Glutwind wird das Teil ihres Bechers sein.
7Denn gerecht ist Jehova, Gerechtigkeiten liebt er. Sein Angesicht schaut den Aufrichtigen an.

2Porque he aquí, los malos flecharon el arco, apercibieron sus saetas sobre la cuerda, para asaetear en oculto á los rectos de corazón.
3Si fueren destruídos los fundamentos, ¿qué ha de hacer el justo?
4Jehová en el templo de su santidad: la silla de Jehová está en el cielo: sus ojos ven, sus párpados examinan á los hijos de los hombres.
5Jehová prueba al justo; empero al malo y al que ama la violencia, su alma aborrece.
6Sobre los malos lloverá lazos; fuego y azufre, con vientos de torbellinos, será la porción del cáliz de ellos.
7Porque el justo Jehová ama la justicia: al recto mirará su rostro.

1In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

1In the LORD, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”?
2For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4The LORD is in his holy temple. The LORD is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.
5The LORD examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.
6On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7For the LORD is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.
