Por toda parte os homens que não temem a Deus preparam seus arcos; colocam as flechas contra as cordas, e das sombras procuram atingir as pessoas honestas e justas.
Porque he aquí, los malos flecharon el arco, apercibieron sus saetas sobre la cuerda, para asaetear en oculto á los rectos de corazón.
For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

Mas o Senhor continua presente no seu santo templo. O Senhor tem o seu trono nos céus. Ele observa a vida dos homens com muita atenção; seus olhos veem o interior de cada pessoa.
Jehová en el templo de su santidad: la silla de Jehová está en el cielo: sus ojos ven, sus párpados examinan á los hijos de los hombres.
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

O Senhor põe à prova os que lhe obedecem e também aqueles que não lhe dão importância; ele detesta quem vive à base de violência.
Jehová prueba al justo; empero al malo y al que ama la violencia, su alma aborrece.
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
The LORD examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.
Ele castigará os maus com chuva de fogo e enxofre; ele castiga a maldade dessa gente com vento que queima como fogo.
Sobre los malos lloverá lazos; fuego y azufre, con vientos de torbellinos, será la porción del cáliz de ellos.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
O Senhor ama a justiça, porque ele é justo. Quem obedece de coração à sua lei, viverá na sua presença.
Porque el justo Jehová ama la justicia: al recto mirará su rostro.
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
For the LORD is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.
