Cántico gradual: de David. A NO haber estado Jehová por nosotros, diga ahora Israel;
If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

N’eût été l’Eternel, qui a été pour nous, quand les hommes se sont élevés contre nous.
A no haber estado Jehová por nosotros, cuando se levantaron contra nosotros los hombres,

Ils nous eussent dès lors engloutis tout vifs ; pendant que leur colère était enflammée contre nous.
Vivos nos habrían entonces tragado, cuando se encendió su furor en nosotros.
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Dès-lors les eaux se fussent débordées sur nous, un torrent eût passé sur notre âme.
Entonces nos habrían inundado las aguas; sobre nuestra alma hubiera pasado el torrente:

Dès-lors les eaux enflées fussent passées sur notre âme.
