Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

En vano se levantan de madrugada, y se acuestan muy tarde, trabajando desesperadamente por pan para comer, porque Dios concede el sueño a sus amados.
Por demás os es el madrugar á levantaros, el veniros tarde á reposar, el comer pan de dolores: pues que á su amado dará Dios el sueño.
