Cántico gradual. BIENAVENTURADO todo aquel que teme á Jehová, que anda en sus caminos.
Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways.
Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.
Cuando comieres el trabajo de tus manos, bienaventurado tú, y tendrás bien.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.
The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.
Tu mujer será como parra que lleva fruto á los lados de tu casa; tus hijos como plantas de olivas alrededor de tu mesa.
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house, your children like olive shoots around your table.
The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:
He aquí que así será bendito el hombre que teme á Jehová.
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
Behold, this is how the man who fears the LORD is blessed.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.
Bendígate Jehová desde Sión, y veas el bien de Jerusalem todos los días de tu vida.
The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
May the LORD bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
Let them be as grass upon the tops of houses: which withereth before it be plucked up:
Y veas los hijos de tus hijos, y la paz sobre Israel.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.
Who with the mower filleth not his hand: nor he that gathereth sheaves his bosom.
