1Ein Stufenlied. Glückselig ein jeder, der Jehova fürchtet, der da wandelt in seinen Wegen!
2Denn essen wirst du die Arbeit deiner Hände; glückselig wirst du sein, und es wird dir wohlgehen.
3Dein Weib wird gleich einem fruchtbaren Weinstock sein im Innern deines Hauses, deine Söhne gleich Ölbaumsprossen rings um deinen Tisch.
4Siehe, also wird gesegnet sein der Mann, der Jehova fürchtet.
5Segnen wird dich Jehova von Zion aus, und du wirst das Wohl Jerusalems schauen alle Tage deines Lebens,
6und sehen deiner Kinder Kinder. Wohlfahrt über Israel!

1Cántico gradual. BIENAVENTURADO todo aquel que teme á Jehová, que anda en sus caminos.
2Cuando comieres el trabajo de tus manos, bienaventurado tú, y tendrás bien.
3Tu mujer será como parra que lleva fruto á los lados de tu casa; tus hijos como plantas de olivas alrededor de tu mesa.
4He aquí que así será bendito el hombre que teme á Jehová.
5Bendígate Jehová desde Sión, y veas el bien de Jerusalem todos los días de tu vida.
6Y veas los hijos de tus hijos, y la paz sobre Israel.

1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
World English Bible
1Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways.
2For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.
3Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house, your children like olive shoots around your table.
4Behold, this is how the man who fears the LORD is blessed.
5May the LORD bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.
