Viel haben sie bedrängt mich von meiner Jugend auf, doch haben sie mich nicht überwältigt.
Mucho me han angustiado desde mi juventud; mas no prevalecieron contra mí.
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

Auf meinem Rücken haben die Pflüger gepflügt und ihre Furchen langgezogen.

Beschämt müssen werden und hinter sich zurückweichen alle, die Zion hassen.
Serán avergonzados y vueltos atrás todos los que aborrecen á Sión.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

Sie werden wie das Gras der Dächer, das, ehe man es herausrauft, verdorrt.

Mit dem nicht füllt seine Hand der Schnitter, noch seinen Schoß der Garbenbinder;
De la cual no hinchió segador su mano, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

Und die vorübergehen sprechen nicht: Jehovahs Segen sei über euch! Wir segnen euch in dem Namen Jehovahs.

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
