1Envía ayuda, Señor, porque la misericordia ha llegado a su fin; no hay más fieles entre los hijos de los hombres.
2Todos dicen mentiras a su prójimo: hablan con hipocresía, y sus corazones están llenos de engaño.
3El Señor destruirá todo labio adulador y toda lengua que habla jactanciosamente;
4Ellos dijeron: Con nuestra lengua prevaleceremos; nuestros labios son nuestros: ¿quién es el señor de nosotros?
5A causa de la opresión de los pobres y el llanto de los necesitados, ahora iré en su ayuda, dice el Señor; les daré la salvación que ellos están deseando.
6Las palabras del Señor son palabras puras: como la plata refinada por el fuego y purificada siete veces.
7Los guardarás, oh Señor, los guardarás de esta generación para siempre.
8Los pecadores andan por todas partes, cuando la vileza es exaltada y el mal se honra entre los hijos de los hombres.

1Al Músico principal: sobre Seminith: Salmo de David. SALVA, oh Jehová, porque se acabaron los misericordiosos: porque se han acabado los fieles de entre los hijos de los hombres.
2Mentira habla cada uno con su prójimo; con labios lisonjeros, con corazón doble hablan.
3Destruirá Jehová todos los labios lisonjeros, la lengua que habla grandezas;
4Que dijeron: Por nuestra lengua prevaleceremos; nuestros labios están con nosotros: ¿quién nos es señor?
5Por la opresión de los pobres, por el gemido de los menesterosos, ahora me levantaré, dice Jehová: pondrélos en salvo del que contra ellos se engríe.
6Las palabras de Jehová, palabras limpias; plata refinada en horno de tierra, purificada siete veces.
7Tú, Jehová, los guardarás; guárdalos para siempre de aquesta generación.
8Cercando andan los malos, mientras son exaltados los más viles de los hijos de los hombres.

1Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

2Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
3May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts,
4who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”
5“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”
6The LORD’s words are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.
7You will keep them, LORD. You will preserve them from this generation forever.
8The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted among the sons of men.
