1Salva, SENHOR; pois o homem piedoso desaparece. Pois os fiéis faltam dentre os filhos dos homens.
2Cada um mente ao seu próximo. Eles falam com lábios lisonjeiros, e com coração dobre.
3Que o SENHOR corte todos os lábios lisonjeiros, e a língua que se gaba,
4dos que disseram: “Com a nossa língua prevaleceremos. Nossos lábios nos pertencem. Quem é senhor sobre nós?”
5“Por causa da opressão dos fracos e por causa do gemido dos necessitados, eu me levantarei agora”, diz o SENHOR; “eu o colocarei em segurança daqueles que o difamam.”
6As palavras do SENHOR são palavras perfeitas, como prata refinada em uma fornalha de barro, purificada sete vezes.
7Tu os guardarás, SENHOR. Tu os preservarás desta geração para sempre.
8Os ímpios andam por todos os lados, quando o que é vil é exaltado entre os filhos dos homens.

2Mentira habla cada uno con su prójimo; con labios lisonjeros, con corazón doble hablan.
3Destruirá Jehová todos los labios lisonjeros, la lengua que habla grandezas;
4Que dijeron: Por nuestra lengua prevaleceremos; nuestros labios están con nosotros: ¿quién nos es señor?
5Por la opresión de los pobres, por el gemido de los menesterosos, ahora me levantaré, dice Jehová: pondrélos en salvo del que contra ellos se engríe.
6Las palabras de Jehová, palabras limpias; plata refinada en horno de tierra, purificada siete veces.
7Tú, Jehová, los guardarás; guárdalos para siempre de aquesta generación.
8Cercando andan los malos, mientras son exaltados los más viles de los hijos de los hombres.

1Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

2Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
3May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts,
4who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”
5“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”
6The LORD’s words are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.
7You will keep them, LORD. You will preserve them from this generation forever.
8The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted among the sons of men.
