Cantique de Mahaloth. Ô Eternel ! souviens-toi de David, et de toute son affliction.
Cántico gradual. ACUÉRDATE, oh Jehová, de David, y de toda su aflicción;
LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
LORD, remember David and all his affliction,
Lequel a juré à l’Eternel, et fait voeu au Puissant de Jacob, en disant:
Que juró él á Jehová, prometió al Fuerte de Jacob:
How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
Si j’entre au Tabernacle de ma maison, et si je monte sur le lit où je couche ;
No entraré en la morada de mi casa, ni subiré sobre el lecho de mi estrado;
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
“Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;
Si je donne du sommeil à mes yeux, si je laisse sommeiller mes paupières,
No daré sueño á mis ojos, ni á mis párpados adormecimiento,
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,
Jusqu’à ce que j’aurai trouvé un lieu à l’Eternel, et des pavillons pour le Puissant de Jacob.
Hasta que halle lugar para Jehová, moradas para el Fuerte de Jacob.
Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Voici, nous avons ouï parler d’elle vers Ephrat, nous l’avons trouvée aux champs de Jahar.
He aquí, en Ephrata oímos de ella: hallámosla en los campos del bosque.
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar.
Nous entrerons dans ses pavillons, et nous nous prosternerons devant son marchepied.
Entraremos en sus tiendas; encorvarnos hemos al estrado de sus pies.
We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

Lève-toi, ô Eternel ! pour venir en ton repos, toi, et l’Arche de ta force.
Levántate, oh Jehová, á tu reposo; tú y el arca de tu fortaleza.
Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
Arise, LORD, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength.
Que tes Sacrificateurs soient revêtus de la justice, et que tes bien-aimés chantent de joie.
Tus sacerdotes se vistan de justicia, y regocíjense tus santos.
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
Let your priests be clothed with righteousness. Let your saints shout for joy!
Pour l’amour de David ton serviteur, ne fais point que ton Oint tourne le visage en arrière.
Por amor de David tu siervo no vuelvas de tu ungido el rostro.
For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
For your servant David’s sake, don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.
L’Eternel a juré en vérité à David, et il ne se rétractera point, disant: je mettrai du fruit de ton ventre sur ton trône.
En verdad juró Jehová á David, no se apartará de ellos: Del fruto de tu vientre pondré sobre tu trono.
The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
The LORD has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: “I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
Si tes enfants gardent mon alliance, et mon témoignage, que je leur enseignerai, leurs fils aussi seront assis à perpétuité sur ton trône.
Si tus hijos guardaren mi alianza, y mi testimonio que yo les enseñaré, sus hijos también se sentarán sobre tu trono para siempre.
If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”
Car l’Eternel a choisi Sion ; il l’a préférée pour être son siège.
Porque Jehová ha elegido á Sión; deseóla por habitación para sí.
For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
For the LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.
Elle est, dit-il, mon repos à perpétuité ; j’y demeurerai, parce que je l’ai chérie.
Este es mi reposo para siempre: aquí habitaré, porque la he deseado.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
“This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.
Je bénirai abondamment ses vivres ; je rassasierai de pain ses pauvres.
A su mantenimiento daré bendición: sus pobres saciaré de pan.
I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Et je revêtirai ses Sacrificateurs de délivrance ; et ses bien- aimés chanteront avec des transports.
Asimismo vestiré á sus sacerdotes de salud, y sus santos darán voces de júbilo.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Je ferai qu’en elle germera une corne à David ; je préparerai une lampe à mon Oint.
Allí haré reverdecer el cuerno de David: he prevenido lámpara á mi ungido.
There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
Je revêtirai de honte ses ennemis, et son diadème fleurira sur lui.
A sus enemigos vestiré de confusión: mas sobre él florecerá su corona.
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will shine.”
