Acuérdate de David, ¡oh Señor!, y de toda su gran mansedumbre;
Cántico gradual. ACUÉRDATE, oh Jehová, de David, y de toda su aflicción;
LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
LORD, remember David and all his affliction,
de cómo juró al Señor, e hizo voto al Dios de Jacob , diciendo:
Que juró él á Jehová, prometió al Fuerte de Jacob:
How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
No me meteré yo al abrigo de mi casa; no subiré a reposar en mi lecho;
No entraré en la morada de mi casa, ni subiré sobre el lecho de mi estrado;
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
“Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;
no pegaré mis ojos, ni cerraré mis párpados.
No daré sueño á mis ojos, ni á mis párpados adormecimiento,
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,
ni reclinaré mis sienes hasta que tenga una habitación para el Señor, un Tabernáculo para el Dios de Jacob .
Hasta que halle lugar para Jehová, moradas para el Fuerte de Jacob.
Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Nosotros hemos oído que su morada estaba antes en Silo, tierra de Efrata: la hallamos después en Cariatiarim o Campos de la Selva.
He aquí, en Ephrata oímos de ella: hallámosla en los campos del bosque.
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar.
Entraremos, pues, en su pabellón, adoraremos la peana de sus pies, y le diremos:
Entraremos en sus tiendas; encorvarnos hemos al estrado de sus pies.
We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
“We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.”
¡Oh Señor!, levántate, y ven al lugar de tu morada, tú y el arca en que brilla tu santidad.
Levántate, oh Jehová, á tu reposo; tú y el arca de tu fortaleza.
Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
Arise, LORD, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength.
Que se revistan de justicia o santidad tus sacerdotes, y se regocijen tus santos.
Tus sacerdotes se vistan de justicia, y regocíjense tus santos.
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
Let your priests be clothed with righteousness. Let your saints shout for joy!
Por amor de David, siervo tuyo, no apartes tu rostro de tu ungido.
Por amor de David tu siervo no vuelvas de tu ungido el rostro.
For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
For your servant David’s sake, don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.
Juró el Señor a David esta promesa, que no se retractará: Colocaré sobre tu trono a tu descendencia.
En verdad juró Jehová á David, no se apartará de ellos: Del fruto de tu vientre pondré sobre tu trono.
The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
The LORD has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: “I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
Con tal que tus hijos sean fieles a mi alianza y a los preceptos que yo les enseñaré, aun los hijos de éstos ocuparán tu trono a tu descendencia.
Si tus hijos guardaren mi alianza, y mi testimonio que yo les enseñaré, sus hijos también se sentarán sobre tu trono para siempre.
If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”
Porque el Señor ha escogido para sí a Sión, la ha elegido para habitación suya, diciendo:
Porque Jehová ha elegido á Sión; deseóla por habitación para sí.
For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
For the LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.
Este es para siempre el lugar de mi reposo; aquí habitaré porque éste es el sitio que me he escogido.
Este es mi reposo para siempre: aquí habitaré, porque la he deseado.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
“This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.
Colmaré de bendiciones a sus viudas; hartaré de pan a sus pobres.
A su mantenimiento daré bendición: sus pobres saciaré de pan.
I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Revestiré a sus sacerdotes de santidad; y sus santos o fieles siervos saltarán de júbilo.
Asimismo vestiré á sus sacerdotes de salud, y sus santos darán voces de júbilo.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Aquí haré florecer el cetro de David; preparada tengo una antorcha a mi ungido.
Allí haré reverdecer el cuerno de David: he prevenido lámpara á mi ungido.
There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
A sus enemigos los cubriré de oprobio; mas en él brillará la gloria de mi propia santidad.
A sus enemigos vestiré de confusión: mas sobre él florecerá su corona.
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will shine.”
