Salmos 137

Car ceux qui nous avaient emmenés captifs Nous demandaient des paroles de cantiques, Et ceux qui nous faisaient souffrir, Des chants de joie ! Chantez-nous quelque chose Des chants de Sion !

Y los que allí nos habían llevado cautivos nos pedían que cantásemos, y los que nos habían desolado nos pedían alegría, diciendo:

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
