Salmos 137

Benchè quelli che ci avevano menati in cattività Ci richiedessero quivi che cantassimo; E quelli che ci facevano urlar piangendo Ci richiedessero canzoni d'allegrezza, dicendo: Cantateci delle canzoni di Sion;

Y los que allí nos habían llevado cautivos nos pedían que cantásemos, y los que nos habían desolado nos pedían alegría, diciendo:

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
