Salmos 137

Denn die uns gefangen weggeführt hatten, forderten daselbst von uns die Worte eines Liedes, und die uns wehklagen machten, Freude: "Singet uns eines von Zions Liedern!"

Y los que allí nos habían llevado cautivos nos pedían que cantásemos, y los que nos habían desolado nos pedían alegría, diciendo:

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
