Salmos 137

Los mismos que nos habían llevado esclavos, nos pedían que les cantásemos nuestros cánticos; los que nos habían arrebatado de nuestra patria, decían: Cantadnos algún himno de los que cantabais en Sión.

Y los que allí nos habían llevado cautivos nos pedían que cantásemos, y los que nos habían desolado nos pedían alegría, diciendo:

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
