Junto a los ríos de Babilonia nos sentábamos y llorábamos Cuando recordábamos a Sion. Sobre los sauces, en medio de ella,
JUNTO á los ríos de Babilonia, allí nos sentábamos, y aun llorábamos, acordándonos de Sión.
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

Colgábamos nuestras arpas.
Sobre los sauces en medio de ella colgamos nuestras arpas.
We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
On the willows in that land, we hung up our harps.
Porque allí nuestros cautivadores nos pedían cantos, Y nuestros atormentadores, alegría: ¡Cántennos alguno de los cantos de Sion!
Y los que allí nos habían llevado cautivos nos pedían que cantásemos, y los que nos habían desolado nos pedían alegría, diciendo:
For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”

Si me olvido de Ti, oh Jerusalén, Que mi mano derecha pierda su destreza.
Si me olvidare de ti, oh Jerusalem, mi diestra sea olvidada.
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.
Que mi lengua se pegue a mi paladar Si no te recuerdo, Si no exalto a Jerusalén por encima de mi mayor gozo.
Mi lengua se pegue á mi paladar, si de ti no me acordare; si no ensalzare á Jerusalem como preferente asunto de mi alegría.
If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I don’t remember you, if I don’t prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.
Recuerda, oh Yavé, contra los hijos de Edom El día de Jerusalén, quienes dijeron: Arrásenla. Arrásenla, arrásenla hasta sus mismos cimientos
Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de los hijos de Edom en el día de Jerusalem; quienes decían: Arrasadla, arrasadla hasta los cimientos.
Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
Remember, LORD, against the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem, who said, “Raze it! Raze it even to its foundation!”
Oh hija de Babilonia, la devastadora. ¡Dichoso el que te pague Por el mal que nos hiciste!
Hija de Babilonia destruída, bienaventurado el que te diere el pago de lo que tú nos hiciste.
O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, he will be happy who repays you, as you have done to us.
¡Dichoso el que agarre a tus pequeños Y los estrelle contra la peña!
Bienaventurado el que tomará y estrellará tus niños contra las piedras.
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
Happy shall he be, who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock.
