O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
LORD, you have searched me, and you know me.
Ich sitze oder stehe, so weißt du es; du merkst meine Gedanken von ferne.
Tú has conocido mi sentarme y mi levantarme, has entendido desde lejos mis pensamientos.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
Du beobachtest mich, ob ich gehe oder liege, und bist vertraut mit allen meinen Wegen;
Mi senda y mi acostarme has rodeado, y estás impuesto en todos mis caminos.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
ja es ist kein Wort auf meiner Zunge, das du, HERR, nicht völlig wüßtest!
Pues aun no está la palabra en mi lengua, y he aquí, oh Jehová, tú la sabes toda.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, LORD, you know it altogether.
Von hinten und von vorn hast du mich eingeschlossen und deine Hand auf mich gelegt.
Detrás y delante me guarneciste, y sobre mí pusiste tu mano.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.
Diese Erkenntnis ist mir zu wunderbar, zu hoch, als daß ich sie fassen könnte!
Más maravillosa es la ciencia que mi capacidad; alta es, no puedo comprenderla.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.
Wo soll ich hingehen vor deinem Geist, wo soll ich hinfliehen vor deinem Angesicht?
¿Adónde me iré de tu espíritu? ¿y adónde huiré de tu presencia?
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?
Führe ich zum Himmel, so bist du da; bettete ich mir im Totenreich, siehe, so bist du auch da!
Si subiere á los cielos, allí estás tú: y si en abismo hiciere mi estrado, he aquí allí tú estás.
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!
Nähme ich Flügel der Morgenröte und bliebe am äußersten Meer,
Si tomare las alas del alba, y habitare en el extremo de la mar,
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea,
so würde auch daselbst deine Hand mich führen und deine Rechte mich halten!
Aun allí me guiará tu mano, y me asirá tu diestra.
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.
Spräche ich: «Finsternis möge mich überfallen und das Licht zur Nacht werden um mich her!»,
Si dijere: Ciertamente las tinieblas me encubrirán; aun la noche resplandecerá tocante á mí.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me. The light around me will be night,”
so ist auch die Finsternis nicht finster für dich, und die Nacht leuchtet wie der Tag; Finsternis ist wie das Licht.
Aun las tinieblas no encubren de ti, y la noche resplandece como el día: lo mismo te son las tinieblas que la luz.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.
Denn du hast meine Nieren geschaffen, du wobest mich in meiner Mutter Schoß.
Porque tú poseiste mis riñones; cubrísteme en el vientre de mi madre.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Ich danke dir, daß du mich wunderbar gemacht hast; wunderbar sind deine Werke, und meine Seele erkennt das wohl!
Te alabaré; porque formidables, maravillosas son tus obras: estoy maravillado, y mi alma lo conoce mucho.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
Mein Gebein war dir nicht verhohlen, da ich im Verborgenen gemacht ward, gewirkt tief unten auf Erden.
No fué encubierto de ti mi cuerpo, bien que en oculto fuí formado, y compaginado en lo más bajo de la tierra.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.
Deine Augen sahen mich, als ich noch unentwickelt war, und es waren alle Tage in dein Buch geschrieben, die noch werden sollten, als derselben noch keiner war.
Mi embrión vieron tus ojos, y en tu libro estaban escritas todas aquellas cosas que fueron luego formadas, sin faltar una de ellas.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Und wie teuer sind mir, o Gott, deine Gedanken! Wie groß ist ihre Summe!
Así que ¡cuán preciosos me son, oh Dios, tus pensamientos! ¡cuán multiplicadas son sus cuentas!
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!
Wollte ich sie zählen, so würde ihrer mehr sein als der Sand. Wenn ich erwache, so bin ich noch bei dir!
Si los cuento, multiplícanse más que la arena: despierto, y aun estoy contigo.
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
Ach Gott, daß du den Gottlosen tötetest und die Blutgierigen von mir weichen müßten!
De cierto, oh Dios, matarás al impío; apartaos pues de mí, hombres sanguinarios.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
Denn sie empören sich arglistig wider dich; deine Feinde erheben ihre Hand zur Lüge.
Porque blasfemias dicen ellos contra ti: tus enemigos toman en vano tu nombre.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.
Sollte ich nicht hassen, die dich, HERR, hassen, und keinen Abscheu empfinden vor deinen Widersachern?
¿No tengo en odio, oh Jehová, á los que te aborrecen, y me conmuevo contra tus enemigos?
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
LORD, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?
Ich hasse sie mit vollkommenem Haß, sie sind mir zu Feinden geworden.
Aborrézcolos con perfecto odio; téngolos por enemigos.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.
Erforsche mich, o Gott, und erkenne mein Herz; prüfe mich und erkenne, wie ich es meine;
Examíname, oh Dios, y conoce mi corazón: pruébame y reconoce mis pensamientos:
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.
und siehe, ob ich auf bösem Wege bin, und leite mich auf ewigem Wege!
Y ve si hay en mí camino de perversidad, y guíame en el camino eterno.
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
