How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
(013-3) Wie lange soll ich Sorgen hegen in meiner Seele, Kummer in meinem Herzen tragen Tag für Tag? Wie lange soll mein Feind sich über mich erheben?
¿Hasta cuándo pondré consejos en mi alma, con ansiedad en mi corazón cada día? ¿Hasta cuándo será enaltecido mi enemigo sobre mí?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
(013-4) Schau her und erhöre mich, o HERR, mein Gott; erleuchte meine Augen, daß ich nicht in den Todesschlaf versinke,
Mira, óyeme, Jehová Dios mío: alumbra mis ojos, porque no duerma en muerte;
Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Behold, and answer me, LORD, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
(013-5) daß mein Feind nicht sagen kann, er habe mich überwältigt, und meine Widersacher nicht frohlocken, weil ich wanke.
Porque no diga mi enemigo, Vencílo: mis enemigos se alegrarán, si yo resbalare.
Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him;” lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
(013-6) Ich aber habe mein Vertrauen auf deine Gnade gesetzt. Mein Herz soll frohlocken in deinem Heil;
Mas yo en tu misericordia he confiado: alegraráse mi corazón en tu salud.
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
(013-6b) ich will dem HERRN singen, daß er mir wohlgetan!
Cantaré á Jehová, porque me ha hecho bien.
I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.
