Wie man Samen in die aufgebrochene Erde streut, so unsre Gebeine in den Rachen des Totenreichs.

Como quien hiende y rompe la tierra, son esparcidos nuestros huesos á la boca de la sepultura.

Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

“As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.”
