Salmo de David. JEHOVÁ, á ti he clamado: apresúrate á mí; escucha mi voz, cuando te invocare.
LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
LORD, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.
Ascienda mi oración ante tu acatamiento, como el olor del incienso; sea la elevación de mis manos tan grata, como el sacrificio de la tarde.
Sea enderezada mi oración delante de ti como un perfume, el don de mis manos como la ofrenda de la tarde.
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.
Pon, Señor, un guardia en mi boca, y un candado que cierre enteramente mis labios.

No permitas que se deslice mi corazón a palabras maliciosas, para pretextar excusas en los pecados, como hacen los hombres malvados; en sus delicias no quiero tomar parte.
No dejes se incline mi corazón á cosa mala, á hacer obras impías con los que obran iniquidad, y no coma yo de sus deleites.
Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
El justo me corregirá y reprenderá con caridad y misericordia; pero nunca llegará a ungir con bálsamo mi cabeza el pecador. Porque mis oraciones se dirigirán siempre contra sus antojos.
Que el justo me castigue, será un favor, y que me reprenda será un excelente bálsamo que no me herirá la cabeza: así que aun mi oración tendrán en sus calamidades.
Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Perecerán los caudillos, estrellándose contra las peñas. Oirán cómo han sido eficaces mis palabras.
Serán derribados en lugares peñascosos sus jueces, y oirán mis palabras, que son suaves.
When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.
Al modo que en el campo se desmenuza el grueso terrón, así fueron esparcidos nuestros huesos; estuvimos a punto de morir.
Como quien hiende y rompe la tierra, son esparcidos nuestros huesos á la boca de la sepultura.
Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
“As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.”
Pero, Señor, pues mis ojos están levantados hacia ti, ¡oh Señor!, pues en ti he esperado, no me quites la vida.
Por tanto á ti, oh Jehová Señor, miran mis ojos: en ti he confiado, no desampares mi alma.
But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
