A Psalm of David, when his son Absalom was pursuing him. O Lord, hear my prayer. Incline your ear to my supplication in your truth. Heed me according to your justice.
Masquil de David: Oración que hizo cuando estaba en la cueva. CON mi voz clamaré á Jehová, con mi voz pediré á Jehová misericordia.
I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
I cry with my voice to the LORD. With my voice, I ask the LORD for mercy.
And do not enter into judgment with your servant. For all the living will not be justified in your sight.
Delante de él derramaré mi querella; delante de él denunciaré mi angustia.
I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.
For the enemy has pursued my soul. He has lowered my life to the earth. He has stationed me in darkness, like the dead of ages past.
Cuando mi espíritu se angustiaba dentro de mí, tú conociste mi senda. En el camino en que andaba, me escondieron lazo.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my route. On the path in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.
And my spirit has been in anguish over me. My heart within me has been disturbed.
Miraba á la mano derecha, y observaba; mas no había quien me conociese; no tuve refugio, no había quien volviese por mi vida.
I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.
I have called to mind the days of antiquity. I have been meditating on all your works. I have meditated on the workings of your hands.
Clamé á ti, oh Jehová, dije: Tú eres mi esperanza, y mi porción en la tierra de los vivientes.
I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
I cried to you, LORD. I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
I have extended my hands to you. My soul is like a land without water before you.
Escucha mi clamor, que estoy muy afligido; líbrame de los que me persiguen, porque son más fuertes que yo.
Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.
O Lord, heed me quickly. My spirit has grown faint. Do not turn your face away from me, lest I become like those who descend into the pit.
Saca mi alma de la cárcel para que alabe tu nombre: Me rodearán los justos, porque tú me serás propicio.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
Make me hear your mercy in the morning. For I have hoped in you. Make known to me the way that I should walk. For I have lifted up my soul to you.

O Lord, rescue me from my enemies. I have fled to you.

Teach me to do your will. For you are my God. Your good Spirit will lead me into the righteous land.

For the sake of your name, O Lord, you will revive me in your fairness. You will lead my soul out of tribulation.

And you will scatter my enemies in your mercy. And you will destroy all those who afflict my soul. For I am your servant.
