Salmo de David. BENDITO sea Jehová, mi roca, que enseña mis manos á la batalla, y mis dedos á la guerra:
Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands to war, and my fingers to battle—
El es para conmigo la misma misericordia y el asilo mío, mi amparo y mi libertador; el protector mío, en quien tengo mi esperanza; el que somete mi pueblo a la autoridad mía.
Misericordia mía y mi castillo, altura mía y mi libertador, escudo mío, en quien he confiado; el que allana mi pueblo delante de mí.
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.
¡Oh Señor! ¿Qué es el hombre para que te des a conocer a él?; ¿o el hijo del hombre, que así lo aprecias?
Oh Jehová, ¿qué es el hombre, para que de él conozcas? ¿ó el hijo del hombre, para que lo estimes?
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
LORD, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?
El hombre por el pecado ha venido a ser nada; sus días pasan como la sombra.
El hombre es semejante á la vanidad: sus días son como la sombra que pasa.
Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.
Señor, inclina esos tus cielos, y desciende a socorrernos; toca los montes, y se desharán en humo.
Oh Jehová, inclina tus cielos y desciende: toca los montes, y humeen.
Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
Part your heavens, LORD, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.
Vibra rayos, y disiparás mis enemigos; arroja tus saetas, y los llenarás de turbación.
Despide relámpagos, y disípalos; envía tus saetas, y contúrbalos.
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.
Alarga desde lo alto tu mano, y arrebátame del abismo de las aguas de la tribulación; líbrame de caer en poder de los extranjeros,
Envía tu mano desde lo alto; redímeme, y sácame de las muchas aguas, de la mano de los hijos extraños;
Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners,
cuya boca no habla sino vanidad o mentira, y cuyas manos están llenas de iniquidad.
Cuya boca habla vanidad, y su diestra es diestra de mentira.
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
¡Oh Dios mío!, yo te cantaré un cántico nuevo con un salterio; te cantaré himnos de alabanza.
Oh Dios, á ti cantaré canción nueva: con salterio, con decacordio cantaré á ti.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.
Señor, tú que das la salud o felicidad a los reyes, que libraste a David, siervo tuyo, de la espada sangrienta,
Tú, el que da salud á los reyes, el que redime á David su siervo de maligna espada.
It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.
sálvame ahora, y sácame de las garras de estos extranjeros; de cuya boca no sale sino vanidad y mentira, y cuyas manos están llenas de iniquidad.
Redímeme, y sálvame de mano de los hijos extraños, cuya boca habla vanidad, y su diestra es diestra de mentira.
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Los hijos de los cuales son como nuevos plantíos en la flor de su edad; sus hijas compuestas y engalanadas por todos lados, como ídolos en un templo.
Que nuestros hijos sean como plantas crecidas en su juventud; nuestras hijas como las esquinas labradas á manera de las de un palacio;
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
Atestadas están sus despensas, y rebosando toda suerte de frutos; fecundas sus ovejas, salen a pacer en numerosos rebaños.
Nuestros graneros llenos, provistos de toda suerte de grano; nuestros ganados, que paran á millares y diez millares en nuestras plazas:
That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.
Tienen gordas y lozanas sus vacas; no se ven portillos, ni ruinas en sus muros o cercados, ni se oyen gritos de llanto en sus plazas.
Que nuestros bueyes estén fuertes para el trabajo; que no tengamos asalto, ni que hacer salida, ni grito de alarma en nuestras plazas.
That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.
Feliz llamaron al pueblo que goza de estas cosas. Mas yo digo: Feliz aquel pueblo que tiene al Señor por su Dios.
Bienaventurado el pueblo que tiene esto: bienaventurado el pueblo cuyo Dios es Jehová.
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is the LORD.
