Salmo de David. BENDITO sea Jehová, mi roca, que enseña mis manos á la batalla, y mis dedos á la guerra:
Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands to war, and my fingers to battle—
Él me ama, me protege, y me defiende. Él es quien me rescata del peligro y me mantiene a salvo. Él somete a las naciones bajo mi dominio.
Misericordia mía y mi castillo, altura mía y mi libertador, escudo mío, en quien he confiado; el que allana mi pueblo delante de mí.
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.
Señor, ¿Qué somos los seres humanos para que nos mires? ¿Qué somos los mortales para que te preocupes por nosotros?
Oh Jehová, ¿qué es el hombre, para que de él conozcas? ¿ó el hijo del hombre, para que lo estimes?
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
LORD, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?
La humanidad es como un suspiro. Sus vidas son como una sombra pasajera.
El hombre es semejante á la vanidad: sus días son como la sombra que pasa.
Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.
Abre tus cielos y desciende, Señor. Toca las montañas para que echen humo.
Oh Jehová, inclina tus cielos y desciende: toca los montes, y humeen.
Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
Part your heavens, LORD, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.
¡Dispersa a tus enemigos con relámpagos! ¡Dispara tus flechas y hazlos huir confundidos!
Despide relámpagos, y disípalos; envía tus saetas, y contúrbalos.
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.
Extiende tu mano desde el cielo y libérame. Rescátame de las aguas profundas, y de la opresión de los enemigos extranjeros.
Envía tu mano desde lo alto; redímeme, y sácame de las muchas aguas, de la mano de los hijos extraños;
Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners,
Ellos son mentirosos, y hablan con engaño aún bajo juramento.
Cuya boca habla vanidad, y su diestra es diestra de mentira.
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Dios, a tu cantaré una canción nueva, acompañada de un arpa de 10 cuerdas,
Oh Dios, á ti cantaré canción nueva: con salterio, con decacordio cantaré á ti.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.
solo para ti, el que da victoria a los reyes. Tú salvaste a tu siervo David de la muerte por espada.
Tú, el que da salud á los reyes, el que redime á David su siervo de maligna espada.
It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.
Libérame. Rescátame de la opresión de enemigos de otras naciones. Ellos son mentirosos y hablan con engaños aún bajo juramento.
Redímeme, y sálvame de mano de los hijos extraños, cuya boca habla vanidad, y su diestra es diestra de mentira.
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Entonces nuestros hijos crecerán como plantas durante su juventud, y se volverán maduros; y nuestras hijas serán hermosas como los pilares tallados de un palacio.
Que nuestros hijos sean como plantas crecidas en su juventud; nuestras hijas como las esquinas labradas á manera de las de un palacio;
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
Nuestros graneros estarán llenos de toda clase de cosechas; nuestros rebaños de ovejas crecerán de a miles y hasta de diez miles en los pastos.
Nuestros graneros llenos, provistos de toda suerte de grano; nuestros ganados, que paran á millares y diez millares en nuestras plazas:
That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.
Nuestros bueyes engordarán. Nadie derribará los muros de nuestra ciudad y no habrá exilio, ni lamentos en las plazas de nuestras ciudades.
Que nuestros bueyes estén fuertes para el trabajo; que no tengamos asalto, ni que hacer salida, ni grito de alarma en nuestras plazas.
That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.
Los que viven así serán felices. Felices son los que tienen a Dios como su Señor.
Bienaventurado el pueblo que tiene esto: bienaventurado el pueblo cuyo Dios es Jehová.
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is the LORD.
