1Dejen que el Señor sea alabado. Alaba al Señor, alma mía.
2Mientras respiro, alabaré al Señor; haré melodía a mi Dios mientras tenga mi ser.
3No pongas tu fe en los gobernantes, o en el hijo del hombre, en quien no hay salvación.
4El aliento del hombre se apaga, vuelve a ser polvo; en ese día todos sus propósitos llegan a su fin.
5Bienaventurado el hombre que tiene al Dios de Jacob por su ayuda, cuya esperanza está en el Señor su Dios:
6Que hizo los cielos y la tierra, el mar y todas las cosas en ellos; quien guarda verdad para siempre.
7Él da sus derechos a los que son oprimidos y da comida a aquellos que la necesitan; el Señor libera a los prisioneros;
8El Señor abre los ojos de los ciegos; el Señor levanta a los caídos; el Señor es un amante de los rectos;
9El Señor cuida a los que están en tierra extraña; él ayuda a la viuda y al niño que no tiene padre; pero él envía destrucción en el camino de los pecadores.
10El Señor será Rey para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sion, será Rey por todas las generaciones. Alabado sea el Señor.

1Aleluya. ALABA, oh alma mía, á Jehová.
2Alabaré á Jehová en mi vida: cantaré salmos á mi Dios mientras viviere.
3No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre, porque no hay en él salud.
4Saldrá su espíritu, tornaráse en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.
5Bienaventurado aquel en cuya ayuda es el Dios de Jacob, cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios:
6El cual hizo los cielos y la tierra, la mar, y todo lo que en ellos hay; que guarda verdad para siempre;
7Que hace derecho á los agraviados; que da pan á los hambrientos: Jehová suelta á los aprisionados;
8Jehová abre los ojos á los ciegos; Jehová levanta á los caídos; Jehová ama á los justos.
9Jehová guarda á los extranjeros; al huérfano y á la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.
10Reinará Jehová para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sión, por generación y generación. Aleluya.

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.
5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD, his God,
6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.
8The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down. The LORD loves the righteous.
9The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
10The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
