Salmos 146

1*Louez Jah. Mon âme, loue l’Éternel !
2Je louerai l’Éternel durant ma vie ; je chanterai des cantiques à mon Dieu tant que j’existerai.
3Ne vous confiez pas dans les principaux, dans un fils d’homme, en qui il n’y a pas de salut.
4Son esprit sort, l’homme retourne dans le sol d’où il est tiré ; en ce même jour ses desseins périssent.
5Bienheureux celui qui a le ✶Dieu de Jacob pour son secours, qui s’attend à l’Éternel, son Dieu,
6Qui a fait les cieux et la terre, la mer, et tout ce qui s’y trouve ; qui garde la vérité à toujours ;
7Qui exécute le jugement en faveur des opprimés ; qui donne du pain à ceux qui ont faim ! L’Éternel met en liberté les prisonniers.
8L’Éternel ouvre les yeux des aveugles ; l’Éternel relève ceux qui sont courbés ; l’Éternel aime les justes ;
9L’Éternel garde les étrangers ; il affermit l’orphelin et la veuve, et confond la voie des méchants.
10L’Éternel régnera à toujours, – ton Dieu, ô Sion ! de génération en génération. Louez Jah !

1Aleluya. ALABA, oh alma mía, á Jehová.
2Alabaré á Jehová en mi vida: cantaré salmos á mi Dios mientras viviere.
3No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre, porque no hay en él salud.
4Saldrá su espíritu, tornaráse en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.
5Bienaventurado aquel en cuya ayuda es el Dios de Jacob, cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios:
6El cual hizo los cielos y la tierra, la mar, y todo lo que en ellos hay; que guarda verdad para siempre;
7Que hace derecho á los agraviados; que da pan á los hambrientos: Jehová suelta á los aprisionados;
8Jehová abre los ojos á los ciegos; Jehová levanta á los caídos; Jehová ama á los justos.
9Jehová guarda á los extranjeros; al huérfano y á la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.
10Reinará Jehová para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sión, por generación y generación. Aleluya.

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.
8The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down. The LORD loves the righteous.
9The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
10The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
