Yahvé levanta a los humildes, pero derriba a los malvados hasta el suelo.

Canten a Yahvé con acciones de gracias; cántenle alabanzas a nuestro Dios con el arpa.

Él cubre de nubes el cielo, prepara la lluvia para la tierra, y hace que la hierba crezca en las montañas.
El es el que cubre los cielos de nubes, el que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, el que hace á los montes producir hierba.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

Él les da de comer a los animales, y también a las crías de los cuervos cuando chillan.
El da á la bestia su mantenimiento, y á los hijos de los cuervos que claman.
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

No le impresiona la fuerza del caballo, ni le importan las piernas fuertes del guerrero.
No toma contentamiento en la fortaleza del caballo, ni se complace en las piernas del hombre.

Yahvé se complace en los que le temen, en los que ponen su esperanza en su amor inagotable.
Complácese Jehová en los que le temen, y en los que esperan en su misericordia.

Porque él ha reforzado los cerrojos de tus puertas, y ha bendecido a tus habitantes.

Mantiene la paz en tus fronteras, y te satisface con lo mejor del trigo.

Él manda sus órdenes a la tierra; su palabra corre a toda prisa.

Hace caer la nieve como lana, y esparce la escarcha como ceniza.

Arroja el granizo como piedras pequeñas; ¿quién puede soportar tanto frío?

He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

Luego envía su palabra y derrite el hielo; hace soplar el viento, y las aguas vuelven a correr.

Él le reveló sus palabras a Jacob, sus leyes y sus decretos a Israel.

No ha hecho esto con ninguna otra nación; ellos no conocen sus leyes. ¡Alabado sea Yah!
No ha hecho esto con toda gente; y no conocieron sus juicios. Aleluya.
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
