Que Israel se alegre en su Creador; que los hijos de Sión se regocijen en su Rey.

Que alaben su nombre con danzas; que le canten alabanzas con pandereta y arpa.

Porque Yahvé se complace en su pueblo; él corona de victoria a los humildes.

Que las alabanzas a Dios estén en su boca, y una espada de doble filo en sus manos,
Ensalzamientos de Dios modularán en sus gargantas, y espadas de dos filos habrá en sus manos;

para vengarse de las naciones, y castigar a los pueblos;
Para hacer venganza de las gentes, y castigo en los pueblos;
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

para atar a sus reyes con cadenas, y a sus nobles con grilletes de hierro;
Para aprisionar sus reyes en grillos, y sus nobles con cadenas de hierro;
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

para ejecutar en ellos la sentencia escrita. ¡Este es el honor de todos sus fieles! ¡Alabado sea Yah!
