Todos se han extraviado, todos a una se hicieron inútiles; no hay quien obre bien, no hay siquiera uno. Su garganta es un sepulcro destapado; con sus lenguas están forjando fraudes; debajo de sus labios hay veneno de áspides. Llena está su boca de maldición y de amargura; sus pies son ligeros para ir a derramar sangre. Todos sus procederes se dirigen a afligir y oprimir al prójimo; nunca conocieron el sendero de la paz; no hay temor de Dios ante sus ojos.

¿Por ventura no entrarán en conocimiento todos esos que hacen profesión de la iniquidad; esos que devoran a mi pueblo como un bocado de pan?

No han invocado al Señor; y allí tiemblan de miedo donde no hay motivo de temer.
