Salmos 18

Dem Vorsänger. Von dem Knechte Jehovas, von David, der die Worte dieses Liedes zu Jehova redete an dem Tage, als Jehova ihn errettet hatte aus der Hand aller seiner Feinde und aus der Hand Sauls. Und er sprach: Ich liebe dich, Jehova, meine Stärke!

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

Jehova ist mein Fels und meine Burg und mein Erretter; mein Gott, mein Hort, auf ihn werde ich trauen, mein Schild und das Horn meines Heils, meine hohe Feste.

Jehová, roca mía y castillo mío, y mi libertador; Dios mío, fuerte mío, en él confiaré; escudo mío, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi refugio.

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Ich werde Jehova anrufen, der zu loben ist, und ich werde gerettet werden von meinen Feinden.

Es umfingen mich die Bande des Todes, und die Ströme Belials erschreckten mich;

Cercáronme dolores de muerte, y torrentes de perversidad me atemorizaron.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

die Bande des Scheols umringten mich, es ereilten mich die Fallstricke des Todes.

Dolores del sepulcro me rodearon, previniéronme lazos de muerte.

The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

In meiner Bedrängnis rief ich zu Jehova, und ich schrie zu meinem Gott; er hörte aus seinem Tempel meine Stimme, und mein Schrei vor ihm kam in seine Ohren.

En mi angustia invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: él oyó mi voz desde su templo, y mi clamor llegó delante de él, á sus oídos.

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Da wankte und bebte die Erde, und die Grundfesten der Berge erzitterten und wankten, weil er entbrannt war.

Rauch stieg auf von seiner Nase, und Feuer fraß aus seinem Munde; glühende Kohlen brannten aus ihm.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Und er neigte die Himmel und fuhr hernieder, und Dunkel war unter seinen Füßen.

Und er fuhr auf einem Cherub und flog daher, und er schwebte auf den Fittichen des Windes.

Finsternis machte er zu seinem Bergungsort, zu seinem Zelte rings um sich her, Finsternis der Wasser, dichtes Himmelsgewölk.

Puso tinieblas por escondedero suyo, su pabellón en derredor de sí; oscuridad de aguas, nubes de los cielos.

He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Aus dem Glanze vor ihm fuhr sein dichtes Gewölk vorüber, Hagel und feurige Kohlen.

Por el resplandor delante de él, sus nubes pasaron; granizo y carbones ardientes.

At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

Und es donnerte Jehova in den Himmeln, und der Höchste ließ seine Stimme erschallen, Hagel und feurige Kohlen.

Und er schoß seine Pfeile und zerstreute sie, und er schleuderte Blitze und verwirrte sie.

Und es wurden gesehen die Betten der Wasser, und die Grundfesten des Erdkreises wurden aufgedeckt vor deinem Schelten, Jehova, vor dem Schnauben des Hauches deiner Nase.

Y aparecieron las honduras de las aguas, y descubriéronse los cimientos del mundo, á tu reprensión, oh Jehová, por el soplo del viento de tu nariz.

Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

Er streckte seine Hand aus von der Höhe, er nahm mich, er zog mich aus großen Wassern.

Envió desde lo alto; tomóme, sacóme de las muchas aguas.

He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

Er errettete mich von meinem starken Feinde und von meinen Hassern, denn sie waren mächtiger als ich.

Libróme de mi poderoso enemigo, y de los que me aborrecían, aunque eran ellos más fuertes que yo.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Sie ereilten mich am Tage meines Unglücks, aber Jehova ward mir zur Stütze.

Asaltáronme en el día de mi quebranto: mas Jehová fué mi apoyo.

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

They came on me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.

Und er führte mich heraus ins Weite, er befreite mich, weil er Lust an mir hatte.

Y sacóme á anchura: libróme, porque se agradó de mí.

He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Jehova vergalt mir nach meiner Gerechtigkeit, nach der Reinheit meiner Hände erstattete er mir.

Hame pagado Jehová conforme á mi justicia: conforme á la limpieza de mis manos me ha vuelto.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

Denn ich habe die Wege Jehovas bewahrt, und bin von meinem Gott nicht frevelhaft abgewichen.

Denn alle seine Rechte waren vor mir, und seine Satzungen, ich entfernte sie nicht von mir.

Pues todos sus juicios estuvieron delante de mí, y no eché de mí sus estatutos.

Und ich war vollkommen gegen ihn, und hütete mich vor meiner Ungerechtigkeit.

Und Jehova erstattete mir nach meiner Gerechtigkeit, nach der Reinheit meiner Hände vor seinen Augen.

Pagóme pues Jehová conforme á mi justicia; conforme á la limpieza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.

Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

Gegen den Gütigen erzeigst du dich gütig, gegen den vollkommenen Mann erzeigst du dich vollkommen;

Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso, y recto para con el hombre íntegro.

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;

With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.

gegen den Reinen erzeigst du dich rein, und gegen den Verkehrten erzeigst du dich entgegenstreitend.

Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio, y severo serás para con el perverso.

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Denn du, du wirst retten das elende Volk, und die hohen Augen wirst du erniedrigen.

Y tú salvarás al pueblo humilde, y humillarás los ojos altivos.

For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

For you will save the afflicted people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.

Denn du, du machst meine Leuchte scheinen; Jehova, mein Gott, erhellt meine Finsternis.

Tú pues alumbrarás mi lámpara: Jehová mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas.

For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

For you will light my lamp, LORD. My God will light up my darkness.

Denn mit dir werde ich gegen eine Schar anrennen, und mit meinem Gott werde ich eine Mauer überspringen.

Porque contigo desharé ejércitos; y con mi Dios asaltaré muros.

For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.

Gott, sein Weg ist vollkommen; Jehovas Wort ist geläutert; ein Schild ist er allen, die auf ihn trauen.

Dios, perfecto su camino: es acendrada la palabra de Jehová: escudo es á todos los que en él esperan.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

Denn wer ist Gott, außer Jehova? Und wer ein Fels, als nur unser Gott?

Porque ¿qué Dios hay fuera de Jehová? ¿y qué fuerte fuera de nuestro Dios?

For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?

For who is God, except the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God,

Der Gott, der mich mit Kraft umgürtet und vollkommen macht meinen Weg;

Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerza, é hizo perfecto mi camino;

It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?

der meine Füße denen der Hindinnen gleich macht, und mich hinstellt auf meine Höhen;

Quien pone mis pies como pies de ciervas, é hízome estar sobre mis alturas;

He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.

der meine Hände den Streit lehrt, und meine Arme spannen den ehernen Bogen!

Quien enseña mis manos para la batalla, y será quebrado con mis brazos el arco de acero.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.

Und du gabst mir den Schild deines Heils, und deine Rechte stützte mich, und deine Herablassung machte mich groß.

Dísteme asimismo el escudo de tu salud: y tu diestra me sustentó, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.

Du machtest Raum meinen Schritten unter mir, und meine Knöchel haben nicht gewankt.

Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, y no titubearon mis rodillas.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.

Meinen Feinden jagte ich nach und erreichte sie, und ich kehrte nicht um, bis sie aufgerieben waren.

Perseguido he mis enemigos, y alcancélos, y no volví hasta acabarlos.

I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. I won’t turn away until they are consumed.

Ich zerschmetterte sie, und sie vermochten nicht aufzustehen; sie fielen unter meine Füße.

Helos herido, y no podrán levantarse: cayeron debajo de mis pies.

I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.

Und du umgürtetest mich mit Kraft zum Streite, beugtest unter mich, die wider mich aufstanden.

Pues me ceñiste de fortaleza para la pelea; has agobiado mis enemigos debajo de mí.

For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

Und du hast mir gegeben den Rücken meiner Feinde; und meine Hasser, ich vernichtete sie.

Y dísteme la cerviz de mis enemigos, y destruí á los que me aborrecían.

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.

Sie schrieen, und kein Retter war da zu Jehova, und er antwortete ihnen nicht.

Clamaron, y no hubo quien salvase: aun á Jehová, mas no los oyó.

They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

They cried, but there was no one to save; even to the LORD, but he didn’t answer them.

Und ich zermalmte sie wie Staub vor dem Winde; wie Straßenkot schüttete ich sie aus.

Y molílos como polvo delante del viento; esparcílos como lodo de las calles.

Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

Du errettetest mich aus den Streitigkeiten des Volkes; du setztest mich zum Haupte der Nationen; ein Volk, das ich nicht kannte, dient mir.

Librásteme de contiendas de pueblo: pusísteme por cabecera de gentes: pueblo que yo no conocía, me sirvió.

Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.

Sowie ihr Ohr hörte, gehorchten sie mir; die Söhne der Fremde unterwarfen sich mir mit Schmeichelei.

Así que hubo oído, me obedeció; los hijos de extraños me mintieron;

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.

Die Söhne der Fremde sanken hin und zitterten hervor aus ihren Schlössern.

Los extraños flaquearon, y tuvieron miedo desde sus encerramientos.

The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.

Jehova lebt, und gepriesen sei mein Fels! Und erhoben werde der Gott meines Heils!

Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; y ensalzado sea el Dios de mi salud:

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,

Der Gott, der mir Rache gab und die Völker mir unterwarf,

El Dios que me da las venganzas, y sujetó pueblos á mí.

It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.

der mich errettete von meinen Feinden. Ja, du erhöhtest mich über die, welche wider mich aufstanden; von dem Manne der Gewalttat befreitest du mich.

Mi libertador de mis enemigos: hicísteme también superior de mis adversarios; librásteme de varón violento.

He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.

Darum, Jehova, will ich dich preisen unter den Nationen, und Psalmen singen deinem Namen,

Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.

Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.

Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.

Dich, der groß macht die Rettungen seines Königs, und Güte erweist seinem Gesalbten, David und seinem Samen ewiglich.

El cual engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David y á su simiente, para siempre.

Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
