To the chief musician, by the servant of the Lord, by David, who spoke unto the Lord the words of this song on the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the power of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul; (18:2) And he said, I ever love thee, O Lord, my strength.
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David, siervo de Jehová, el cual profirió á Jehová las palabras de este cántico el día que le libró Jehová de mano de todos sus enemigos, y de mano de Saúl. Entonces dijo: AMARTE he, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía.

(18:3) The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Jehová, roca mía y castillo mío, y mi libertador; Dios mío, fuerte mío, en él confiaré; escudo mío, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi refugio.

(18:4) Praised, I cried, be the Lord, and from my enemies was I saved.

(18:5) The bonds of death encompassed me, and the floods of destruction made me afraid.
Cercáronme dolores de muerte, y torrentes de perversidad me atemorizaron.

(18:6) The bonds of hell encircled me: the snares of death seized on me.
Dolores del sepulcro me rodearon, previniéronme lazos de muerte.

(18:7)When in my distress I called upon the Lord, and unto my God I cried: he heard from his temple my voice, and my complaint came before him, even into his ears.
En mi angustia invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: él oyó mi voz desde su templo, y mi clamor llegó delante de él, á sus oídos.

(18:8) Then shook and trembled the earth; and the foundations of the mountains were moved; and they were shaken, because he was wroth.
Y la tierra fué conmovida y tembló; y moviéronse los fundamentos de los montes, y se estremecieron, porque se indignó él.

(18:9) Smoke went up in his anger and consuming fire out of his mouth: coals flamed forth from him.
Humo subió de su nariz, y de su boca consumidor fuego; carbones fueron por él encendidos.

(18:10) And he bent the heavens, and came down: and thick darkness was under his feet:

(18:12) He made darkness his hidingplace, round about him as his pavilion, dark waters, thick clouds of the skies.

(18:13) From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed away, with hailstones and coals of fire.

(18:14) And the Lord thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered forth his voice, with hailstones and coals of fire.

(18:16) And then were seen the channels of the waters, and there were laid open the foundations of the world, through thy rebuke, O Lord, through the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
Y aparecieron las honduras de las aguas, y descubriéronse los cimientos del mundo, á tu reprensión, oh Jehová, por el soplo del viento de tu nariz.
Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

(18:17) He stretched out from above his hand, he took me; he drew me out from mighty waters.
Envió desde lo alto; tomóme, sacóme de las muchas aguas.

(18:18) He delivered me from my enemy, the strong, and from those that hated me, when they were too mighty for me.
Libróme de mi poderoso enemigo, y de los que me aborrecían, aunque eran ellos más fuertes que yo.

(18:19) They overcame me on the day of my calamity; but the Lord became my stay.
Asaltáronme en el día de mi quebranto: mas Jehová fué mi apoyo.

(18:20) And he brought me forth into a large space; he delivered me, because he had delight in me.
Y sacóme á anchura: libróme, porque se agradó de mí.

(18:21) The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.

(18:22) For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
Porque yo he guardado los caminos de Jehová, y no me aparté impíamente de mi Dios.

(18:23) For all his ordinances were before me, and his statutes had I not put away from me.
Pues todos sus juicios estuvieron delante de mí, y no eché de mí sus estatutos.

(18:24) I was also upright with him, and I guarded myself against my iniquity.
Y fuí íntegro para con él, y cauteléme de mi maldad.

(18:25) Therefore did the Lord recompense me according to my righteousness, according to the purity of my hands before his eyes.
Pagóme pues Jehová conforme á mi justicia; conforme á la limpieza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

(18:26) With the kind thou wilt show thyself kind; with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright;
Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso, y recto para con el hombre íntegro.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.
(18:27) With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt wage a contest.
Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio, y severo serás para con el perverso.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
(18:28) For thou wilt indeed save the afflicted people; but haughty eyes wilt thou bring down.
Y tú salvarás al pueblo humilde, y humillarás los ojos altivos.
For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
For you will save the afflicted people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.
(18:29) For thou wilt cause my light to shine: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
Tú pues alumbrarás mi lámpara: Jehová mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas.
For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
For you will light my lamp, LORD. My God will light up my darkness.
(18:30) For aided by thee I run through a troop; and helped by my God I leap over a wall.
Porque contigo desharé ejércitos; y con mi Dios asaltaré muros.

For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
(18:31) As for God,his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a shield to all those that trust in him.
Dios, perfecto su camino: es acendrada la palabra de Jehová: escudo es á todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
(18:32) For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock beside our God?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay fuera de Jehová? ¿y qué fuerte fuera de nuestro Dios?
For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
For who is God, except the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God,
(18:33) He is the God that girdeth me with strength, and rendereth my way unobstructed.
Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerza, é hizo perfecto mi camino;
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?
(18:34) He maketh my feet like those of the hinds, and upon my highplaces he causeth me to stand.
Quien pone mis pies como pies de ciervas, é hízome estar sobre mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.
(18:35) He teacheth my hands for the war, so that a brazen bow is bent by my arms.
Quien enseña mis manos para la batalla, y será quebrado con mis brazos el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
(18:36) And thou gavest me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand supported me: and thy meekness hath made me great.
Dísteme asimismo el escudo de tu salud: y tu diestra me sustentó, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
(18:37) Thou enlargest my steps under me, so that my joints do not slip.
Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, y no titubearon mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.
(18:38) I pursue my enemies, and overtake them; and I return not again till I have made an end of them.
Perseguido he mis enemigos, y alcancélos, y no volví hasta acabarlos.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. I won’t turn away until they are consumed.
(18:39) I crush them that they are not able to rise: they fall under my feet.
Helos herido, y no podrán levantarse: cayeron debajo de mis pies.
I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.
(18:40) For thou hast girded me with strength for the war: thou subduest my opponents under me.
Pues me ceñiste de fortaleza para la pelea; has agobiado mis enemigos debajo de mí.
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
(18:41) And my enemies thou causest to turn their back to me; and those that hate me,that I may destroy them.
Y dísteme la cerviz de mis enemigos, y destruí á los que me aborrecían.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
(18:42) They cry, but there is none to help; unto the Lord,but he answereth them not.
Clamaron, y no hubo quien salvase: aun á Jehová, mas no los oyó.
They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
They cried, but there was no one to save; even to the LORD, but he didn’t answer them.
(18:43) And I beat them small as the dust before the wind: like the dirt in the streets do I cast them out.
Y molílos como polvo delante del viento; esparcílos como lodo de las calles.
Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

(18:44) Thou deliverest me from the contests of the people; thou appointest me to be the head of nations: a people that I know not shall serve me.
Librásteme de contiendas de pueblo: pusísteme por cabecera de gentes: pueblo que yo no conocía, me sirvió.
Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
(18:45) As soon as their ear heareth they shall be obedient to me: the children of the stranger shall utter flattery unto me.
Así que hubo oído, me obedeció; los hijos de extraños me mintieron;
As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.
(18:46) The children of the stranger shall fade away, and come forth trembling out of their close places.
Los extraños flaquearon, y tuvieron miedo desde sus encerramientos.
The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.
(18:47) The Lord liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation;
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; y ensalzado sea el Dios de mi salud:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,
(18:48) The God that granteth me vengeance, and subdueth nations under me;
El Dios que me da las venganzas, y sujetó pueblos á mí.
It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.
(18:49) That delivereth me from my enemies: also above my opponents thou liftest me up; thou deliverest me from the man of violence.
Mi libertador de mis enemigos: hicísteme también superior de mis adversarios; librásteme de varón violento.
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
(18:50) Therefore will I give thanks unto thee among the nations, O Lord, and unto thy name will I sing praises,
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
(18:51)To him that maketh great the salvation of his king, and who sheweth kindness to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for ever.
El cual engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David y á su simiente, para siempre.
Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
