Al Músico principal: Salmo de David, siervo de Jehová, el cual profirió á Jehová las palabras de este cántico el día que le libró Jehová de mano de todos sus enemigos, y de mano de Saúl. Entonces dijo: AMARTE he, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía.
I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

O Senhor é a minha rocha, o meu rochedo e o meu libertador; o meu Deus é a minha fortaleza, em quem me refugio. Ele é o meu escudo, e o seu poder é a garantia da minha salvação.
Jehová, roca mía y castillo mío, y mi libertador; Dios mío, fuerte mío, en él confiaré; escudo mío, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi refugio.

Dolores del sepulcro me rodearon, previniéronme lazos de muerte.

No meio da minha aflição clamei pela ajuda do Senhor. Gritando, pedi socorro ao meu Deus. Lá do seu templo ele ouviu a minha voz; ele escutou meu pedido de socorro.
En mi angustia invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: él oyó mi voz desde su templo, y mi clamor llegó delante de él, á sus oídos.

Então a terra tremeu e agitou-se; os montes foram sacudidos desde suas bases, por causa da ira do Senhor.

Os céus ficaram mais baixos com nuvens escuras de tempestade, e sobre elas ele vinha descendo em direção à terra.

O Senhor, a voz do Altíssimo, ressoou nos céus, como a voz de um trovão. Logo começaram a cair pedras e fogo!

Lá do alto ele estendeu sua mão e me segurou; tirou-me das águas agitadas.

Meus inimigos me atacaram de surpresa no dia em que eu estava mais fraco e triste. Mas o Senhor foi o meu apoio; ele me sustentou.

pois eu venho seguindo fielmente os caminhos do Senhor. Não fui rebelde, não me afastei do meu Deus.

Procuro sempre lembrar de todos os seus mandamentos! Não deixei de lado nenhuma ordem do Senhor.

Por isso, o Senhor me tratou segundo a minha justiça; ele me deu a recompensa conforme a pureza das minhas mãos diante dele.
Pagóme pues Jehová conforme á mi justicia; conforme á la limpieza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

O Senhor é fiel para com o fiel. Cumpre as suas promessas para quem obedece às suas leis;
Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso, y recto para con el hombre íntegro.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.
ao puro de coração o Senhor se revela puro. Mas, ao homem que torce os seus mandamentos, o Senhor mostra a sua justa ira.
Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio, y severo serás para con el perverso.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
Salva os humildes, mas humilha os orgulhosos.
Y tú salvarás al pueblo humilde, y humillarás los ojos altivos.
For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

O Senhor mantém a minha lâmpada brilhando; o meu Deus transforma as minhas trevas em luz.
Tú pues alumbrarás mi lámpara: Jehová mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas.
For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
For you will light my lamp, LORD. My God will light up my darkness.
Com ele ao meu lado sou capaz de derrotar um exército; com o meu Deus posso saltar os muros mais altos.
Porque contigo desharé ejércitos; y con mi Dios asaltaré muros.
For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

O caminho de Deus é perfeito; as promessas do Senhor sempre se cumprem. O Senhor é como um escudo; ele protege a todos que nele se escondem.
Dios, perfecto su camino: es acendrada la palabra de Jehová: escudo es á todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
Pois quem é Deus além do Senhor? Quem é firme e seguro como uma rocha, senão o nosso Deus?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay fuera de Jehová? ¿y qué fuerte fuera de nuestro Dios?
For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
For who is God, except the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God,
Ele me dá força e prepara o caminho por onde devo andar.
Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerza, é hizo perfecto mi camino;
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?
Ele fez os meus pés serem tão rápidos e firmes como os pés das cabras dos montes. Deus me deu firmeza quando eu andava no alto dos rochedos.
Quien pone mis pies como pies de ciervas, é hízome estar sobre mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.
Ele me preparou para a guerra e me deu força suficiente para vergar um arco de bronze.
Quien enseña mis manos para la batalla, y será quebrado con mis brazos el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
O Senhor me dá o escudo da vitória; a sua mão direita me mantém em pé; a sua paciência e compreensão me engrandecem.
Dísteme asimismo el escudo de tu salud: y tu diestra me sustentó, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
Preparou um caminho largo para mim, e assim os meus pés não tropeçam.
Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, y no titubearon mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.
Persegui e alcancei os meus inimigos; só voltei depois de tê-los destruído.
Perseguido he mis enemigos, y alcancélos, y no volví hasta acabarlos.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

Esmaguei-os de tal maneira que não tiveram forças para se levantar. Eles estão debaixo dos meus pés!
Helos herido, y no podrán levantarse: cayeron debajo de mis pies.
I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.
O Senhor me deu força para a luta; o Senhor derrotou aqueles que se rebelaram contra mim.
Pues me ceñiste de fortaleza para la pelea; has agobiado mis enemigos debajo de mí.
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
O Senhor colocou os meus inimigos para correr; destruí completamente os que me odiavam.
Y dísteme la cerviz de mis enemigos, y destruí á los que me aborrecían.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
Bem que eles gritaram pedindo socorro, mas ninguém respondeu. Pediram ajuda ao Senhor, mas ele não respondeu.
Clamaron, y no hubo quien salvase: aun á Jehová, mas no los oyó.
They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
They cried, but there was no one to save; even to the LORD, but he didn’t answer them.
Esmaguei meus inimigos até virarem pó que o vento levou. Lancei fora os que sobraram para serem como a lama das ruas.
Y molílos como polvo delante del viento; esparcílos como lodo de las calles.
Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

O Senhor me livrou da revolta do povo e me colocou como rei de muitas nações. Um povo que eu nem conheço está me servindo.
Librásteme de contiendas de pueblo: pusísteme por cabecera de gentes: pueblo que yo no conocía, me sirvió.
Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
Eles ouvem as minhas ordens e me obedecem sem discutir; são estrangeiros que se sujeitaram ao meu governo.
Así que hubo oído, me obedeció; los hijos de extraños me mintieron;
As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.
Cheios de medo eles abandonam suas fortalezas.
Los extraños flaquearon, y tuvieron miedo desde sus encerramientos.
The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.
O Senhor está vivo! Louvado seja a minha Rocha! Exaltado seja Deus, o meu Salvador!
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; y ensalzado sea el Dios de mi salud:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,
Ele me vinga dos meus inimigos e me deu controle sobre muitas nações.
El Dios que me da las venganzas, y sujetó pueblos á mí.
It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.
O Senhor me salvou de meus inimigos e me manteve fora do alcance dos meus adversários poderosos e violentos.
Mi libertador de mis enemigos: hicísteme también superior de mis adversarios; librásteme de varón violento.
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
Por isso, Senhor, eu o louvarei entre as nações e cantarei louvores ao seu nome!
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
O Senhor dá grandes vitórias ao seu rei; ele mostra a sua bondade ao seu ungido, e continuará mostrando essa mesma bondade aos seus filhos e netos que ocuparem o seu trono, para sempre.
El cual engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David y á su simiente, para siempre.
Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
