Salmo de David, siervo del Señor, a cuya gloria dirigió las palabras de este cántico, el día en que le libró el Señor de las manos de todos sus enemigos, como también del poder de Saúl, con cuyo motivo dijo: A ti he de amarte, ¡oh Señor!, que eres toda mi fortaleza.
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David, siervo de Jehová, el cual profirió á Jehová las palabras de este cántico el día que le libró Jehová de mano de todos sus enemigos, y de mano de Saúl. Entonces dijo: AMARTE he, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía.
I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
I love you, LORD, my strength.
El Señor es mi firme apoyo, mi asilo, y mi libertador. Mi Dios es mi socorro y en él esperaré. El es mi protector y mi poderosa salvación, y el amparo mío.
Jehová, roca mía y castillo mío, y mi libertador; Dios mío, fuerte mío, en él confiaré; escudo mío, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi refugio.
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Invocaré, pues, al Señor con alabanzas, y me veré libre de mis enemigos.

Me cercaron dolores de muerte; y torrentes de iniquidad me llenaron de terror.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

Me rodearon dolores de infierno; estuve a punto de caer en lazos de muerte.

The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death came on me.
Mas en medio de esta mi tribulación invoqué al Señor, y a mi Dios clamé, el cual desde su santo templo escuchó benigno mis voces; y el clamor que hice yo ante su acatamiento penetró sus oídos.
En mi angustia invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: él oyó mi voz desde su templo, y mi clamor llegó delante de él, á sus oídos.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Se conmovió y tembló luego la tierra, los cimientos de los montes se estremecieron y se conmovieron, viéndole tan airado.

Se levantó una gran humareda en fuerza de su ira, un fuego devorador salía de su rostro; por él fueron encendidas brasas.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Inclinó los cielos, y descendió, llevando una oscura niebla bajo sus pies.

Puso entre tinieblas su asiento; sirviéndole de pabellón, que le cubría por todas partes, un agua tenebrosa suspensa en las nubes del aire.
Puso tinieblas por escondedero suyo, su pabellón en derredor de sí; oscuridad de aguas, nubes de los cielos.
He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Al resplandor de su presencia se resolvieron las nubes en lluvia de piedras y de centellas ardientes.
Por el resplandor delante de él, sus nubes pasaron; granizo y carbones ardientes.
At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

Y tronó el Señor desde lo alto del cielo; y el Altísimo dio una voz como suya, y cayeron al instante piedras y ascuas de fuego.

The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

Disparó sus saetas, y los disipó; arrojó gran multitud de rayos, y los aterró.

Se hicieron visibles los ocultos manantiales de las aguas y quedaron descubiertos los cimientos de la tierra, al estruendo tuyo, ¡oh Señor!, al resoplido del aliento de tu ira.
Y aparecieron las honduras de las aguas, y descubriéronse los cimientos del mundo, á tu reprensión, oh Jehová, por el soplo del viento de tu nariz.
Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
Entonces me alargó el Señor desde lo alto su mano, y me asió, y me sacó de la inundación de tantas aguas.
Envió desde lo alto; tomóme, sacóme de las muchas aguas.
He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

Me libró de mis poderosísimos enemigos; y de cuantos me aborrecían; porque se habían hecho más fuertes que yo.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Se echaron de repente sobre mí en el día de mi angustia; pero el Señor se hizo mi protector.
Asaltáronme en el día de mi quebranto: mas Jehová fué mi apoyo.

Me sacó a la anchura, me salvó por un efecto de su buena voluntad para conmigo.
Y sacóme á anchura: libróme, porque se agradó de mí.

El Señor me recompensará según mi justicia, y me premiará conforme a la pureza de mis manos o acciones.
Hame pagado Jehová conforme á mi justicia: conforme á la limpieza de mis manos me ha vuelto.

Porque yo he seguido atentamente las sendas del Señor, y nunca he procedido impíamente contra mi Dios.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

Porque tengo ante mis ojos todos sus juicios, y no he desechado jamás sus justísimos preceptos.
Pues todos sus juicios estuvieron delante de mí, y no eché de mí sus estatutos.

Y me mantendré puro delante de él; y me cuidaré de mi mala inclinación.
Y fuí íntegro para con él, y cauteléme de mi maldad.
I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.

Y el Señor me galardonará conforme a mi justicia, y según la pureza de mis manos que está presente a sus ojos.
Pagóme pues Jehová conforme á mi justicia; conforme á la limpieza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

Porque tú, Señor, con el santo te ostentarás santo, e inocente con el inocente.
Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso, y recto para con el hombre íntegro.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.
Con el selecto serás selecto o sincero, y con el perverso serás como él merece.
Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio, y severo serás para con el perverso.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
Porque tú salvarás al pueblo humilde, y humillarás los ojos altaneros.
Y tú salvarás al pueblo humilde, y humillarás los ojos altivos.
For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
For you will save the afflicted people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.
Y pues tú, ¡oh Señor!, das la luz a mi antorcha, esclarece, Dios mío, mis tinieblas.
Tú pues alumbrarás mi lámpara: Jehová mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas.
For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
For you will light my lamp, LORD. My God will light up my darkness.
Que con tu ayuda seré libertado de la tentación; y al lado de mi Dios traspasaré o asaltaré toda muralla.
Porque contigo desharé ejércitos; y con mi Dios asaltaré muros.
For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
Irreprensible y puro es el proceder de mi Dios, acendradas al fuego sus palabras o promesas; él es el protector de cuantos ponen en él su esperanza.
Dios, perfecto su camino: es acendrada la palabra de Jehová: escudo es á todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
Porque ¿qué otro Dios hay sino el Señor? ¿O qué Dios hay fuera de nuestro Dios?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay fuera de Jehová? ¿y qué fuerte fuera de nuestro Dios?
For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
For who is God, except the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God,
El es el Dios que me ha revestido de fortaleza, y ha hecho que mi conducta fuese sin mancilla;
Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerza, é hizo perfecto mi camino;
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?
que ha dado a mis pies la ligereza de los ciervos, y me ha colocado sobre las alturas.
Quien pone mis pies como pies de ciervas, é hízome estar sobre mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.
Que adiestra mis manos para la pelea. Tú eres, ¡oh Dios mío!, el que fortaleciste mis brazos como arcos de bronce,
Quien enseña mis manos para la batalla, y será quebrado con mis brazos el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
y me has salvado con tu protección, y me has amparado con tu diestra. Tu disciplina o avisos me han corregido en todo tiempo; y esa misma disciplina tuya será mi enseñanza.
Dísteme asimismo el escudo de tu salud: y tu diestra me sustentó, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
Me fuiste abriendo paso por doquiera que iba, y no flaquearon mis pies.
Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, y no titubearon mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.
Perseguiré a mis enemigos y los alcanzaré, y no volveré atrás hasta cuando queden eternamente deshechos.
Perseguido he mis enemigos, y alcancélos, y no volví hasta acabarlos.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. I won’t turn away until they are consumed.
Los destrozaré, no podrán resistir; caerán debajo de mis pies.
Helos herido, y no podrán levantarse: cayeron debajo de mis pies.
I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.
Porque tú me revestiste de valor para el combate, y derribaste a mis pies a los que contra mí se alzaban.
Pues me ceñiste de fortaleza para la pelea; has agobiado mis enemigos debajo de mí.
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Hiciste volver las espaldas a mis enemigos delante de mí, y desbarataste a los que me odian.
Y dísteme la cerviz de mis enemigos, y destruí á los que me aborrecían.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
Clamaron; mas no había quien los salvase; clamaron al Señor, y no los escuchó.
Clamaron, y no hubo quien salvase: aun á Jehová, mas no los oyó.
They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Los desmenuzaré como polvo que el viento esparce, y los barreré como lodo de las plazas.
Y molílos como polvo delante del viento; esparcílos como lodo de las calles.
Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

Tú, Dios mío, me librarás de las contradicciones del pueblo; tú me constituirás caudillo de las naciones.
Librásteme de contiendas de pueblo: pusísteme por cabecera de gentes: pueblo que yo no conocía, me sirvió.
Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
Un pueblo a quien yo no conocía, se sometió a mi dominio; apenas hubo oído mi voz, me rindió la obediencia.
Así que hubo oído, me obedeció; los hijos de extraños me mintieron;
As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.
Los hijos míos se han vuelto como hijos bastardos, me faltaron a la fidelidad; han caído en la vejez y caducado los hijos bastardos, y van tropezando fuera de sus sendas.
Los extraños flaquearon, y tuvieron miedo desde sus encerramientos.
The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.
Viva el Señor, y bendito sea mil veces mi Dios; y sea glorificado el Dios de mi salud.
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; y ensalzado sea el Dios de mi salud:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,
Tú, oh Dios mío, que sales a vengarme, y sujetas a mi dominio las naciones; tú que me libraste de la saña de mis enemigos,
El Dios que me da las venganzas, y sujetó pueblos á mí.
It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.
me ensalzarás sobre los que se levantan contra mí; me libertarás del hombre inicuo.
Mi libertador de mis enemigos: hicísteme también superior de mis adversarios; librásteme de varón violento.
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
Por tanto, yo te alabaré, oh Señor, entre las naciones, y cantaré himnos a la gloria de tu Nombre;
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
a aquel que ha salvado maravillosamente a su rey, y usa de misericordia, o colma de beneficios a su ungido David, y la usará también con su descendencia hasta el fin de los siglos.
El cual engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David y á su simiente, para siempre.
Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
