To the chief musician, a psalm of David.(21:2) O Lord, because of thy strength will the king rejoice; and through thy salvation how greatly will he be glad!
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. ALEGRARÁSE el rey en tu fortaleza, oh Jehová; y en tu salud se gozará mucho.
The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
The king rejoices in your strength, LORD! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!
(21:3) The longing of his heart hast thou given him, and the request of his lips hast thou not withholden. Selah.
El deseo de su corazón le diste, y no le negaste lo que sus labios pronunciaron. (Selah.)
Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
(21:4) For thou meetest him unasked with the blessings of happiness: thou settest on his head a crown of pure gold.
Pues le has salido al encuentro con bendiciones de bien: corona de oro fino has puesto sobre su cabeza.
For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head.
(21:5) Life hath he asked of thee, thou gavest it to him, length of days for ever and ever.
Vida te demandó, y dístele largura de días por siglos y siglos.
He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
He asked life of you and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.
(21:6) Great is his honor through thy help: glory and majesty thou layest upon him.
Grande es su gloria en tu salud: honra y majestad has puesto sobre él.
His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.
(21:7) For thou appointest him to be a blessing for ever: thou makest him glad with joy from thy presence.
Porque lo has bendecido para siempre; llenástelo de alegría con tu rostro.
For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.
(21:8) For the king trusteth in the Lord; and through the kindness of the Most High shall he not be moved.
Por cuanto el rey confía en Jehová, y en la misericordia del Altísimo, no será conmovido.
For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
For the king trusts in the LORD. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
(21:9) Thy hand will reach all thy enemies: thy right hand will reach those that hate thee.
Alcanzará tu mano á todos tus enemigos; tu diestra alcanzará á los que te aborrecen.
Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
(21:10) Thou wilt render them as a fiery oven at the time of thy anger: the Lord in his wrath will destroy them, and a fire will devour them.
Ponerlos has como horno de fuego en el tiempo de tu ira: Jehová los deshará en su furor, y fuego los consumirá.
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. The LORD will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.
(21:11) Their fruit wilt thou cause to perish from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
Su fruto destruirás de la tierra, y su simiente de entre los hijos de los hombres.
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.
(21:12) For they directed against thee evil: they devised a mischievous purpose, which they were not able to perform.
Porque trazaron el mal contra ti: fraguaron maquinaciones, mas no prevalecerán.
For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
(21:13) For thou wilt make them turn their back; upon thy bowstrings thou wilt make ready thy arrows against their face.
Pues tú los pondrás en fuga, cuando aparejares en tus cuerdas las saetas contra sus rostros.
Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.
(21:14) Exalt thyself, O Lord, in thy strength; and we will sing and praise thy power.
Ensálzate, oh Jehová, con tu fortaleza: cantaremos y alabaremos tu poderío.
Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
Be exalted, LORD, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.
