To the chief musician upon Ayelethhashachar, a psalm of David. (22:2) My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from saving me, and from the words of my loud complaint?

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

(22:3) O my God! I call in the daytime, but thou answerest not; and in the night I find no rest.
Dios mío, clamo de día, y no oyes; y de noche, y no hay para mí silencio.

(22:4) But thou art holy, O thou that dwellest amidst the praises of Israel.
Tú empero eres santo, tú que habitas entre las alabanzas de Israel.

(22:5) In thee did our fathers trust: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
En ti esperaron nuestros padres: esperaron, y tú los libraste.

(22:6) Unto thee they cried, and were delivered: in thee they trusted, and were not put to shame.
Clamaron á ti, y fueron librados: esperaron en ti, y no se avergonzaron.

They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.
(22:7) But I am a worm, and not a man, a reproach of men, and despised of people.
Mas yo soy gusano, y no hombre; oprobio de los hombres, y desecho del pueblo.

(22:8) All those who see me laugh me to scorn: they draw open their lips, they shake their head, saying,

All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
(22:9) "Let him throw himself on the Lord, that he may deliver him: he will save him, for he delighteth in him."
Remítese á Jehová, líbrelo; sálvele, puesto que en él se complacía.
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
“He trusts in the LORD. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
(22:10) Yea, thou art he that took me from the womb: thou hast been my trust when I hung on my mothers breasts.
Empero tú eres el que me sacó del vientre, el que me haces esperar desde que estaba á los pechos de mi madre.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.
(22:11) Upon thee was I cast from my birth: from my mothers womb art thou my God.
Sobre ti fuí echado desde la matriz: desde el vientre de mi madre, tú eres mi Dios.
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.
(22:12) Oh be not far from me now; for distress is near; for there is none to help.
No te alejes de mí, porque la angustia está cerca; porque no hay quien ayude.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Don’t be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help.
(22:13) Many steers have encompassed me: the strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
Hanme rodeado muchos toros; fuertes toros de Basán me han cercado.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
(22:14) They have opened wide against me their mouth, as a ravenous and roaring lion.
Abrieron sobre mí su boca, como león rapante y rugiente.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.
(22:15) Like water am I poured out, and all my bones are disjointed: my heart is become like wax, it is melted in the midst of my entrails.
Heme escurrido como aguas, y todos mis huesos se descoyuntaron: mi corazón fué como cera, desliéndose en medio de mis entrañas.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

(22:16) Like a potsherd is my strength dried up; and my tongue cleaveth to my palate; and into the dust of death hast thou laid me down.
Secóse como un tiesto mi vigor, y mi lengua se pegó á mi paladar; y me has puesto en el polvo de la muerte.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.
(22:17) For dogs have encompassed me; the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: like lions they threaten my hands and my feet.
Porque perros me han rodeado, hame cercado cuadrilla de malignos: horadaron mis manos y mis pies.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
(22:18) I may number all my bones: while they stare and look upon me.
Contar puedo todos mis huesos; ellos miran, considéranme.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.
(22:19) They divide my clothes among themselves, and for my garment do they cast lots.
Partieron entre sí mis vestidos, y sobre mi ropa echaron suertes.

(22:20) But thou, O Lord, be not far from me: O thou who art my strength, hasten to my aid.
Mas tú, Jehová, no te alejes; fortaleza mía, apresúrate para mi ayuda.
But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
But don’t be far off, LORD. You are my help. Hurry to help me!
(22:21) Deliver from the sword my life, from the power of the dog my solitary soul.
Libra de la espada mi alma; del poder del perro mi única.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog.
(22:22) Save me from the lions mouth; as thou hast answered me from the horns of the reem.
Sálvame de la boca del león, y óyeme librándome de los cuernos de los unicornios.
Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Save me from the lion’s mouth! Yes, you have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen.
(22:23) I will relate thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Anunciaré tu nombre á mis hermanos: en medio de la congregación te alabaré.
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you.
(22:24) Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and be in dread of him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Los que teméis á Jehová, alabadle; glorificadle, simiente toda de Jacob; y temed de él, vosotros, simiente toda de Israel.
Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!
(22:25) For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor; neither hath he hidden his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
Porque no menospreció ni abominó la aflicción del pobre, ni de él escondió su rostro; sino que cuando clamó á él, oyóle.

(22:26) Of thee shall be my praise in a great assembly: my vows will I pay in the presence of those who fear him.
De ti será mi alabanza en la grande congregación; mis votos pagaré delante de los que le temen.
My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
My praise of you comes in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
(22:27) The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they who seek him shall praise the Lord: may your heart live for ever.
Comerán los pobres, y serán saciados: alabarán á Jehová los que le buscan: vivirá vuestro corazón para siempre.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise the LORD who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.
(22:28) All the ends of the world shall remember and return unto the Lord: and all the families of the nations shall bow themselves down before thee.
Acordarse han, y volveránse á Jehová todos los términos de la tierra; y se humillarán delante de ti todas las familias de las gentes.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.
(22:29) For the kingdom is the Lords, and he governeth the nations.
Porque de Jehová es el reino; y él se enseñoreará de las gentes.
For the kingdom is the LORD’s: and he is the governor among the nations.
For the kingdom is the LORD’s. He is the ruler over the nations.
(22:30) All they that eat the fat of the earth shall bow themselves down; before him shall bend the knee all that are going down into the dust; for none can keep alive his own soul.
Comerán y adorarán todos los poderosos de la tierra: postraránse delante de él todos los que descienden al polvo, si bien ninguno puede conservar la vida á su propia alma.
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.
(22:31) Distant ages shall serve him; there shall be related of the Lord unto future generations.
La posteridad le servirá; será ella contada por una generación de Jehová.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Posterity shall serve him. Future generations shall be told about the Lord.
(22:32) They will come, and will tell his righteousness unto a people yet unborn, that he hath done this.
Vendrán, y anunciarán al pueblo que naciere, su justicia que él hizo.
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, for he has done it.
