My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Cada día clamo a ti, mi Dios, pero tú no me respondes; clamo de noche pero no hallo reposo.
Dios mío, clamo de día, y no oyes; y de noche, y no hay para mí silencio.
O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

Pero tú eres santo, tú eres rey, ¡tú eres la alabanza de Israel!

Ellos confiaron en ti y tú los libraste.

Escuchaste su clamor y los salvaste; jamás quedaron defraudados cuando buscaron tu ayuda.
Clamaron á ti, y fueron librados: esperaron en ti, y no se avergonzaron.

Pero yo sólo soy un gusano y no un ser humano; la gente se burla de mí, el pueblo me desprecia.
Mas yo soy gusano, y no hombre; oprobio de los hombres, y desecho del pueblo.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Cuantos me miran se ríen de mí, se mofan y se encogen de hombros, diciendo:
Todos los que me ven, escarnecen de mí; estiran los labios, menean la cabeza, diciendo:
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
«Este es aquel que se encomendó al Señor, ¡pues que el Señor lo salve! Si el Señor lo ama tanto, ¡que el Señor lo libere!».
Remítese á Jehová, líbrelo; sálvele, puesto que en él se complacía.
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
“He trusts in the LORD. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
Pero tú me sacaste del vientre materno; me hiciste reposar confiado en el regazo de mi madre.
Empero tú eres el que me sacó del vientre, el que me haces esperar desde que estaba á los pechos de mi madre.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.
Desde antes de mi nacimiento he sido puesto a tu cuidado; desde el mismo momento en que nací, has sido tú mi Dios.
Sobre ti fuí echado desde la matriz: desde el vientre de mi madre, tú eres mi Dios.
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.
No me abandones ahora, cuando la tribulación está próxima y ningún otro puede ayudarme.
No te alejes de mí, porque la angustia está cerca; porque no hay quien ayude.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Temibles enemigos me rodean, fuertes como manada de enormes toros de Basán.
Hanme rodeado muchos toros; fuertes toros de Basán me han cercado.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
Se me vienen encima con las fauces abiertas, como leones al asaltar su presa.
Abrieron sobre mí su boca, como león rapante y rugiente.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.
Mi fuerza se escurrió como agua y tengo todos los huesos descoyuntados. Mi corazón se derrite como cera;
Heme escurrido como aguas, y todos mis huesos se descoyuntaron: mi corazón fué como cera, desliéndose en medio de mis entrañas.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

mi fuerza se ha secado como una teja quemada por el sol; la lengua se me pega al paladar, porque me has echado en el polvo de la muerte.
Secóse como un tiesto mi vigor, y mi lengua se pegó á mi paladar; y me has puesto en el polvo de la muerte.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.
Mis enemigos me rodean, me rodean como perros en jauría; me ha cercado una banda de malvados; me han traspasado las manos y los pies.
Porque perros me han rodeado, hame cercado cuadrilla de malignos: horadaron mis manos y mis pies.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
Puedo contar cada uno de mis huesos. Miro cómo brillan de regocijo los ojos de esos malvados;
Contar puedo todos mis huesos; ellos miran, considéranme.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.
se reparten entre ellos mis vestidos; juegan a los dados por mi ropa.
Partieron entre sí mis vestidos, y sobre mi ropa echaron suertes.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.
Señor, ¡no te quedes lejos! ¡Oh Dios, fuerza mía, apresúrate a socorrerme!
Mas tú, Jehová, no te alejes; fortaleza mía, apresúrate para mi ayuda.
But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
But don’t be far off, LORD. You are my help. Hurry to help me!
Rescátame de la muerte; libra mi vida de todos estos perros.
Libra de la espada mi alma; del poder del perro mi única.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog.
Sálvame de las fauces de estos leones y de los cuernos de estos toros salvajes.
Sálvame de la boca del león, y óyeme librándome de los cuernos de los unicornios.
Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Save me from the lion’s mouth! Yes, you have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen.
Ante todos mis hermanos te alabaré; me levantaré ante la congregación y daré testimonio de las maravillas que has hecho.
Anunciaré tu nombre á mis hermanos: en medio de la congregación te alabaré.
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you.
«Alaben al Señor, los que le temen», diré yo; ¡Hónrenlo descendientes de Jacob! ¡Adórenlo descendientes de Israel!
Los que teméis á Jehová, alabadle; glorificadle, simiente toda de Jacob; y temed de él, vosotros, simiente toda de Israel.
Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!
Porque no ha desdeñado mi clamor ni mi profunda desesperación; no me ha vuelto la espalda ni se ha alejado. Cuando clamé a él, me escuchó y acudió.
Porque no menospreció ni abominó la aflicción del pobre, ni de él escondió su rostro; sino que cuando clamó á él, oyóle.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

Me levantaré y te alabaré delante de todo el pueblo. Públicamente cumpliré mis votos en presencia de cuantos te adoran.
De ti será mi alabanza en la grande congregación; mis votos pagaré delante de los que le temen.
My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
My praise of you comes in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
Los pobres comerán y se saciarán; cuantos busquen al Señor lo hallarán. De gozo constante tendrán lleno el corazón.
Comerán los pobres, y serán saciados: alabarán á Jehová los que le buscan: vivirá vuestro corazón para siempre.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise the LORD who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.
Todos en esta tierra lo verán y se volverán al Señor. Y la gente de todas las naciones lo adorará.
Acordarse han, y volveránse á Jehová todos los términos de la tierra; y se humillarán delante de ti todas las familias de las gentes.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.
Porque del Señor es el reino y él gobierna sobre las naciones.
Porque de Jehová es el reino; y él se enseñoreará de las gentes.
For the kingdom is the LORD’s: and he is the governor among the nations.
For the kingdom is the LORD’s. He is the ruler over the nations.
Los ricos de la tierra festejarán y le adorarán, todo mortal nacido para morir, se postrará ante él y lo adorará.
Comerán y adorarán todos los poderosos de la tierra: postraránse delante de él todos los que descienden al polvo, si bien ninguno puede conservar la vida á su propia alma.
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.
También nuestros hijos le servirán, porque de nuestros labios oirán las maravillas del Señor.
La posteridad le servirá; será ella contada por una generación de Jehová.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Posterity shall serve him. Future generations shall be told about the Lord.
Generaciones no nacidas aún oirán las maravillas que Dios hizo por nosotros.
Vendrán, y anunciarán al pueblo que naciere, su justicia que él hizo.
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, for he has done it.
