1Ein Psalm Davids. Nach dir, HERR, verlangt mich.
2Mein Gott, ich hoffe auf dich; laß mich nicht zu Schanden werden, daß sich meine Feinde nicht freuen über mich.
3Denn keiner wird zu Schanden, der dein harret; aber zu Schanden müssen sie werden, die leichtfertigen Verächter.
4HERR, zeige mir deine Wege und lehre mich deine Steige;
5leite mich in deiner Wahrheit und lehre mich! Denn du bist der Gott, der mir hilft; täglich harre ich dein.
6Gedenke, HERR, an deine Barmherzigkeit und an deine Güte, die von der Welt her gewesen ist.
7Gedenke nicht der Sünden meiner Jugend und meiner Übertretungen; gedenke aber mein nach deiner Barmherzigkeit um deiner Güte willen!
8Der HERR ist gut und fromm; darum unterweist er die Sünder auf dem Wege.
9Er leitet die Elenden recht und lehrt die Elenden seinen Weg.
10Die Wege des HERRN sind eitel Güte und Wahrheit denen, die seinen Bund und seine Zeugnisse halten.
11Um deines Namens willen, HERR, sei gnädig meiner Missetat, die da groß ist.
12Wer ist der, der den HERRN fürchtet? Er wird ihn unterweisen den besten Weg.
13Seine Seele wird im Guten wohnen, und sein Same wird das Land besitzen.
14Das Geheimnis des HERRN ist unter denen, die ihn fürchten; und seinen Bund läßt er sie wissen.
15Meine Augen sehen stets zu dem HERRN; denn er wird meinen Fuß aus dem Netze ziehen.
16Wende dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig; denn ich bin einsam und elend.
17Die Angst meines Herzens ist groß; führe mich aus meinen Nöten!
18Siehe an meinen Jammer und mein Elend und vergib mir alle meine Sünden!
19Siehe, daß meiner Feinde so viel sind und hassen mich aus Frevel.
20Bewahre meine Seele und errette mich, laß mich nicht zu Schanden werden; denn ich traue auf dich.
21Schlecht und Recht, das behüte mich; denn ich harre dein.
22Gott, erlöse Israel aus aller seiner Not!

1Salmo de David. A TI, oh Jehová, levantaré mi alma.
2Dios mío, en ti confío; no sea yo avergonzado, no se alegren de mí mis enemigos.
3Ciertamente ninguno de cuantos en ti esperan será confundido: serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.
4Muéstrame, oh Jehová, tus caminos; enséñame tus sendas.
5Encamíname en tu verdad, y enséñame; porque tú eres el Dios de mi salud: en ti he esperado todo el día.
6Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de tus conmiseraciones y de tus misericordias, que son perpetuas.
7De los pecados de mi mocedad, y de mis rebeliones, no te acuerdes; conforme á tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, por tu bondad, oh Jehová.
8Bueno y recto es Jehová: por tanto él enseñará á los pecadores el camino.
9Encaminará á los humildes por el juicio, y enseñará á los mansos su carrera.
10Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, para los que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios.
11Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová, perdonarás también mi pecado; porque es grande.
12¿Quién es el hombre que teme á Jehová? El le enseñará el camino que ha de escoger.
13Su alma reposará en el bien, y su simiente heredará la tierra.
14El secreto de Jehová es para los que le temen; y á ellos hará conocer su alianza.
15Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová; porque él sacará mis pies de la red.
16Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí; porque estoy solo y afligido.
17Las angustias de mi corazón se han aumentado: sácame de mis congojas.
18Mira mi aflicción y mi trabajo: y perdona todos mis pecados.
19Mira mis enemigos, que se han multiplicado, y con odio violento me aborrecen.
20Guarda mi alma, y líbrame: no sea yo avergonzado, porque en ti confié.
21Integridad y rectitud me guarden; porque en ti he esperado.
22Redime, oh Dios, á Israel de todas sus angustias.

1Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
World English Bible
1To you, LORD, I lift up my soul.
2My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4Show me your ways, LORD. Teach me your paths.
5Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.
6LORD, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.
7Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.
10All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11For your name’s sake, LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13His soul will dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the land.
14The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
15My eyes are ever on the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.

18Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.
19Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
20Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
22God, redeem Israel out of all his troubles.
