Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

mein Gott, auf dich vertraue ich:</title> laß mich nicht enttäuscht werden, laß meine Feinde nicht über mich frohlocken!
Dios mío, en ti confío; no sea yo avergonzado, no se alegren de mí mis enemigos.
O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
Nein, keiner, der auf dich harrt, wird enttäuscht; enttäuscht wird nur, wer dich treulos verläßt. –
Ciertamente ninguno de cuantos en ti esperan será confundido: serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.
Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Tu mir kund, o HERR, deine Wege, deine Pfade lehre mich!
Muéstrame, oh Jehová, tus caminos; enséñame tus sendas.
Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Laß mich wandeln in deiner Wahrheit und lehre mich, denn du bist der Gott meines Heils: deiner harre ich allezeit. –
Encamíname en tu verdad, y enséñame; porque tú eres el Dios de mi salud: en ti he esperado todo el día.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Gedenke der Erweise deines Erbarmens, o HERR, und daß deine Gnadenverheiße aus der Urzeit stammen;
Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de tus conmiseraciones y de tus misericordias, que son perpetuas.
Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
LORD, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.
gedenke nicht der Sünden meiner Jugend und meiner Vergehen: nein, nach deiner Gnade gedenke meiner um deiner Güte willen!
De los pecados de mi mocedad, y de mis rebeliones, no te acuerdes; conforme á tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, por tu bondad, oh Jehová.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Gütig und aufrichtig ist der HERR; darum weist er den Sündern den rechten Weg,
Bueno y recto es Jehová: por tanto él enseñará á los pecadores el camino.
Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

läßt Bedrückte wandeln in richtiger Weise und lehrt die Dulder seinen Weg.
Encaminará á los humildes por el juicio, y enseñará á los mansos su carrera.
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Alle Pfade des HERRN sind Gnade und Treue denen, die seinen Bund und seine Gebote halten.
Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, para los que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Um deines Namens willen, o HERR, vergib mir meine Schuld, denn sie ist groß! –
Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová, perdonarás también mi pecado; porque es grande.
For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

Wie steht’s mit dem Mann, der den HERRN fürchtet? Dem zeigt er den Weg, den er wählen soll.
¿Quién es el hombre que teme á Jehová? El le enseñará el camino que ha de escoger.
What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
Er selbst wird wohnen im Glück, und seine Kinder werden das Land besitzen.
Su alma reposará en el bien, y su simiente heredará la tierra.
His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Freundschaft hält der HERR mit denen, die ihn fürchten, und sein Bund will zur Erkenntnis sie führen. –
El secreto de Jehová es para los que le temen; y á ellos hará conocer su alianza.
The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
Meine Augen sind stets auf den HERRN gerichtet, denn er wird meine Füße aus dem Netze ziehn.
Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová; porque él sacará mis pies de la red.
Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Die Ängste meines Herzens sind schwer geworden: o führ’ mich heraus aus meinen Nöten!

Unschuld und Redlichkeit mögen mich behüten, denn ich harre deiner, o HERR! –
