1Di Davide. A te, o Eterno, io levo l’anima mia.
2Dio mio, in te mi confido; fa’ ch’io non sia confuso, che i miei nemici non trionfino di me.
3Nessuno di quelli che sperano in te sia confuso; sian confusi quelli che si conducono slealmente senza cagione.
4O Eterno, fammi conoscere le tue vie, insegnami i tuoi sentieri.
5Guidami nella tua verità ed ammaestrami; poiché tu sei l’Iddio della mia salvezza: io spero in te del continuo.
6Ricordati, o Eterno, delle tue compassioni e delle tue benignità, perché sono ab eterno.
7Non ti ricordar de’ peccati della mia giovinezza, né delle mie trasgressioni; secondo la tua benignità ricordati di me per amor della tua bontà, o Eterno.
8L’Eterno è buono e diritto; perciò insegnerà la via ai peccatori.
9Guiderà i mansueti nella giustizia, insegnerà ai mansueti la sua via.
10Tutti i sentieri dell’Eterno sono benignità e verità per quelli che osservano il suo patto e le sue testimonianze.
11Per amor del tuo nome, o Eterno, perdona la mia iniquità, perch’ella è grande.
12Chi è l’uomo che tema l’Eterno? Ei gl’insegnerà la via che deve scegliere.
13L’anima sua dimorerà nel benessere, e la sua progenie erederà la terra.
14Il segreto dell’Eterno è per quelli che lo temono, ed egli fa loro conoscere il suo patto.
15I miei occhi son del continuo verso l’Eterno, perch’egli è quel che trarrà i miei piedi dalla rete.
16Volgiti a me, ed abbi pietà di me, perch’io son solo ed afflitto.
17Le angosce del mio cuore si sono aumentate; traimi fuori dalle mie distrette.
18Vedi la mia afflizione ed il mio affanno, e perdonami tutti i miei peccati.
19Vedi i miei nemici, perché son molti, e m’odiano d’un odio violento.
20Guarda l’anima mia e salvami; fa’ ch’io non sia confuso, perché mi confido in te.
21L’integrità e la dirittura mi proteggano, perché spero in te.
22O Dio, libera Israele da tutte le sue tribolazioni.

1Salmo de David. A TI, oh Jehová, levantaré mi alma.
2Dios mío, en ti confío; no sea yo avergonzado, no se alegren de mí mis enemigos.
3Ciertamente ninguno de cuantos en ti esperan será confundido: serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.
4Muéstrame, oh Jehová, tus caminos; enséñame tus sendas.
5Encamíname en tu verdad, y enséñame; porque tú eres el Dios de mi salud: en ti he esperado todo el día.
6Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de tus conmiseraciones y de tus misericordias, que son perpetuas.
7De los pecados de mi mocedad, y de mis rebeliones, no te acuerdes; conforme á tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, por tu bondad, oh Jehová.
8Bueno y recto es Jehová: por tanto él enseñará á los pecadores el camino.
9Encaminará á los humildes por el juicio, y enseñará á los mansos su carrera.
10Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, para los que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios.
11Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová, perdonarás también mi pecado; porque es grande.
12¿Quién es el hombre que teme á Jehová? El le enseñará el camino que ha de escoger.
13Su alma reposará en el bien, y su simiente heredará la tierra.
14El secreto de Jehová es para los que le temen; y á ellos hará conocer su alianza.
15Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová; porque él sacará mis pies de la red.
16Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí; porque estoy solo y afligido.
17Las angustias de mi corazón se han aumentado: sácame de mis congojas.
18Mira mi aflicción y mi trabajo: y perdona todos mis pecados.
19Mira mis enemigos, que se han multiplicado, y con odio violento me aborrecen.
20Guarda mi alma, y líbrame: no sea yo avergonzado, porque en ti confié.
21Integridad y rectitud me guarden; porque en ti he esperado.
22Redime, oh Dios, á Israel de todas sus angustias.

1Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
World English Bible
1To you, LORD, I lift up my soul.
2My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4Show me your ways, LORD. Teach me your paths.
5Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.
6LORD, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.
7Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.
10All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11For your name’s sake, LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13His soul will dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the land.
14The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
15My eyes are ever on the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

18Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.
