Eines habe ich von dem HERRN erbeten, nach diesem will ich trachten: zu wohnen im Haus des HERRN alle Tage meines Lebens, um anzuschauen die Lieblichkeit des HERRN und nach ihm zu forschen in seinem Tempel.
Una cosa he demandado á Jehová, ésta buscaré: que esté yo en la casa de Jehová todos los días de mi vida, para contemplar la hermosura de Jehová, y para inquirir en su templo.
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Porque él me esconderá en su tabernáculo en el día del mal; ocultaráme en lo reservado de su pabellón; pondráme en alto sobre una roca.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Und nun wird mein Haupt erhöht sein über meine Feinde rings um mich her; und Opfer des Jubelschalls will ich opfern in seinem Zelt, ich will singen und Psalmen singen dem HERRN.
Y luego ensalzará mi cabeza sobre mis enemigos en derredor de mí: y yo sacrificaré en su tabernáculo sacrificios de júbilo: cantaré y salmearé á Jehová.
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Denn hätten mein Vater und meine Mutter mich verlassen, so nähme doch der HERR mich auf.
