¿POR qué se amotinan las gentes, y los pueblos piensan vanidad?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Les Rois de la terre se trouvent en personne, et les Princes consultent ensemble contre l’Eternel, et contre son Oint.
Estarán los reyes de la tierra, y príncipes consultarán unidos contra Jehová, y contra su ungido, diciendo:
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Rompons, disent-ils, leurs liens, et jetons loin de nous leurs cordes.
Rompamos sus coyundas, y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”
Celui qui habite dans les cieux se rira d’eux ; le Seigneur s’en moquera.
El que mora en los cielos se reirá; el Señor se burlará de ellos.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Alors il leur parlera en sa colère, et il les remplira de terreur par la grandeur de son courroux.
Entonces hablará á ellos en su furor, y turbarálos con su ira.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:
Et moi, dira-t-il, j’ai sacré mon Roi sur Sion, la montagne de ma Sainteté.
Yo empero he puesto mi rey sobre Sión, monte de mi santidad.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”
Je vous réciterai quel a été ce sacre ; l’Eternel m’a dit : tu es mon Fils, je t’ai aujourd’hui engendré.
Yo publicaré el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: Mi hijo eres tú; yo te engendré hoy.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.
Demande-moi, et je te donnerai pour ton héritage les nations, et pour ta possession les bouts de la terre.
Pídeme, y te daré por heredad las gentes, y por posesión tuya los términos de la tierra.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
Tu les briseras avec un sceptre de fer, et tu les mettras en pièces comme un vaisseau de potier.

Maintenant donc, ô Rois ! ayez de l’intelligence ; Juges de la terre, recevez instruction.
Y ahora, reyes, entended: admitid corrección, jueces de la tierra.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Servez l’Eternel avec crainte, et égayez-vous avec tremblement.
Servid á Jehová con temor, y alegraos con temblor.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Baisez le Fils, de peur qu’il ne s’irrite, et que vous ne périssiez dans cette conduite, quand sa colère s’embrasera tant soit peu. Ô que bienheureux sont tous ceux qui se confient en lui !
Besad al Hijo, porque no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino, cuando se encendiere un poco su furor. Bienaventurados todos los que en él confían.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
