¿POR qué se amotinan las gentes, y los pueblos piensan vanidad?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?
Os reis das nações se reuniram e os governantes traçam planos para, unidos, derrotarem o Senhor e o seu Ungido, dizendo:
Estarán los reyes de la tierra, y príncipes consultarán unidos contra Jehová, y contra su ungido, diciendo:
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

“Vamos quebrar as suas correntes e acabar com essa escravidão!”
Rompamos sus coyundas, y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Do seu trono, no céu, o Senhor ri e faz pouco caso dos tolos planos dos homens.
El que mora en los cielos se reirá; el Señor se burlará de ellos.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Quando chegar a hora certa, em sua ira, ele vai falar. Os homens ficarão desorientados e aterrorizados com o furor de Deus.
Entonces hablará á ellos en su furor, y turbarálos con su ira.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:
O Senhor anuncia: “Eu mesmo escolhi o meu Rei! Coloquei o seu trono em Sião, no meu santo monte!”
Yo empero he puesto mi rey sobre Sión, monte de mi santidad.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”
E o rei diz: “Vou anunciar ao mundo os planos eternos do Senhor, porque ele me disse: ‘Você é meu filho! Hoje o gerei. Hoje dou a você toda a sua glória!
Yo publicaré el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: Mi hijo eres tú; yo te engendré hoy.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.

Pídeme, y te daré por heredad las gentes, y por posesión tuya los términos de la tierra.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Governe as nações com justiça e firmeza, com vara de ferro. Esmague os povos rebeldes como se fossem vasos de barro’ ”.

Ajoelhem-se diante do Filho e beijem os seus pés, antes que chegue o dia da ira do Senhor e vocês sejam todos destruídos. Cuidado, isso vai acontecer muito mais depressa do que vocês pensam! Porém, as pessoas que confiam nele serão felizes, muito felizes!
Besad al Hijo, porque no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino, cuando se encendiere un poco su furor. Bienaventurados todos los que en él confían.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
