¿POR qué se amotinan las gentes, y los pueblos piensan vanidad?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?
Se han coligado los reyes de la tierra; y se han confederado los príncipes contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo o Mesías.
Estarán los reyes de la tierra, y príncipes consultarán unidos contra Jehová, y contra su ungido, diciendo:
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Rompamos, dijeron, sus ataduras, y sacudamos lejos de nosotros su yugo.
Rompamos sus coyundas, y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”
Mas aquel que reside en los cielos se burlará de ellos; se mofará de ellos el Señor.
El que mora en los cielos se reirá; el Señor se burlará de ellos.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Entonces les hablará él en su indignación y los llenará de terror con su saña.
Entonces hablará á ellos en su furor, y turbarálos con su ira.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:
Mas yo he sido por él constituido rey sobre Sión, su santo monte, para predicar su ley.
Yo empero he puesto mi rey sobre Sión, monte de mi santidad.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”
A mí me dijo el Señor: Tú eres mi hijo; yo te engendré hoy.
Yo publicaré el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: Mi hijo eres tú; yo te engendré hoy.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.
Pídeme, y te daré las naciones en herencia tuya, y extenderé tu dominio hasta los extremos de la tierra.
Pídeme, y te daré por heredad las gentes, y por posesión tuya los términos de la tierra.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
Los regirás con cetro de hierro; y si te resisten, los desmenuzarás como un vaso de barro.
Quebrantarlos has con vara de hierro: como vaso de alfarero los desmenuzarás.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Ahora pues, ¡oh reyes!, entendedlo: Sed instruidos vosotros los que juzgáis o gobernáis la tierra.
Y ahora, reyes, entended: admitid corrección, jueces de la tierra.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Servid al Señor con temor, y regocijaos en él, poseídos siempre de un temblor santo.
Servid á Jehová con temor, y alegraos con temblor.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Abrazad la buena doctrina; no sea que al fin se irrite el Señor, y perezcáis descarriados de la senda de la justicia. Porque cuando de aquí a poco se inflamare su ira, bienaventurados todos aquellos que ponen en él su confianza.
Besad al Hijo, porque no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino, cuando se encendiere un poco su furor. Bienaventurados todos los que en él confían.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
