Salmo de David: Masquil. BIENAVENTURADO aquel cuyas iniquidades son perdonadas, y borrados sus pecados.
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Confess to the Lord with stringed instruments; sing psalms to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.
Bienaventurado el hombre á quien no imputa Jehová la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay superchería.
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD doesn’t impute iniquity, in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Sing to him a new song. Sing psalms to him skillfully, with loud exclamation.
Mientras callé, envejeciéronse mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are in faith.
Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; volvióse mi verdor en sequedades de estío. (Selah.)
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.
He loves mercy and judgment. The earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones á Jehová; y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.)
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
By the word of the Lord, the heavens were established, and all their power, by the Spirit of his mouth:
Por esto orará á ti todo santo en el tiempo de poder hallarte: ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas no llegarán éstas á él.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
gathering together the waters of the sea, as if in a container, placing the depths in storage.
Tú eres mi refugio; me guardarás de angustia; con cánticos de liberación me rodearás. (Selah.)
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Let all the earth fear the Lord, and may all the inhabitants of the world quake before him.
Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que debes andar: sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
No seáis como el caballo, ó como el mulo, sin entendimiento: con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser reprimida, para que no lleguen á ti.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
The Lord scatters the counsels of the nations. Moreover, he reproves the thoughts of the people, and he rejects the counsels of the leaders.
Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en Jehová, lo cercará misericordia.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in the LORD.
But the counsel of the Lord remains for eternity, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
Alegraos en Jehová, y gozaos, justos: y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his inheritance.

The Lord has looked down from heaven. He has seen all the sons of men.

From his well-prepared dwelling place, he has gazed upon all who dwell on the earth.

He has formed the hearts of each one of them; he understands all their works.

The king is not saved by great power, nor will the giant be saved by his many powers.

The horse is false safety; for he will not be saved by the abundance of his powers.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him and on those who hope in his mercy,

so as to rescue their souls from death and to feed them during famine.

Our soul remains with the Lord. For he is our helper and protector.

For in him, our heart will rejoice, and in his holy name, we have hoped.

Let your mercy be upon us, O Lord, just as we have hoped in you.
