A Psalme of Dauid. Pleade thou my cause, O Lord, with them that striue with me: fight thou against them, that fight against me.
Salmo de David. DISPUTA, oh Jehová, con los que contra mí contienden; pelea con los que me combaten.
Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.
Lay hand vpon the shielde and buckler, and stand vp for mine helpe.
Echa mano al escudo y al pavés, y levántate en mi ayuda.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Bring out also the speare and stop the way against them, that persecute me: say vnto my soule, I am thy saluation.
Y saca la lanza, cierra contra mis perseguidores; di á mi alma: Yo soy tu salud.
Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, “I am your salvation.”
Let them be confounded and put to shame, that seeke after my soule: let them be turned backe, and brought to confusion, that imagine mine hurt.
Avergüéncense y confúndanse los que buscan mi alma: vuelvan atrás, y sean avergonzados los que mi mal intentan.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded.
Let them be as chaffe before the winde, and let the Angel of the Lord scatter them.
Sean como el tamo delante del viento; y el ángel de Jehová los acose.

For without cause they haue hid the pit and their net for me: without cause haue they digged a pit for my soule.
Porque sin causa escondieron para mí su red en un hoyo; sin causa hicieron hoyo para mi alma.

Let destruction come vpon him at vnwares, and let his net, that he hath laid priuilie, take him: let him fall into the same destruction.
Véngale el quebrantamiento que no sepa, y su red que escondió lo prenda: con quebrantamiento en ella caiga.
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

Then my soule shalbe ioyfull in the Lord: it shall reioyce in his saluation.
Y gócese mi alma en Jehová; y alégrese en su salud.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like vnto thee, which deliuerest the poore from him, that is too strong for him! yea, the poore and him that is in miserie, from him that spoyleth him!
Todos mis huesos dirán: Jehová, ¿quién como tú, que libras al afligido del más fuerte que él, y al pobre y menesteroso del que le despoja?
All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

Cruell witnesses did rise vp: they asked of me things that I knewe not.
Levantáronse testigos falsos; demandáronme lo que no sabía;
False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don’t know about.
They rewarded me euill for good, to haue spoyled my soule.
Volviéronme mal por bien, para abatir á mi alma.
They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
They reward me evil for good, to the bereaving of my soul.
Yet I, when they were sicke, I was clothed with a sacke: I humbled my soule with fasting: and my praier was turned vpon my bosome.
Mas yo, cuando ellos enfermaron, me vestí de saco; afligí con ayuno mi alma, y mi oración se revolvía en mi seno.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

I behaued my selfe as to my friend, or as to my brother: I humbled my selfe, mourning as one that bewaileth his mother.
Como por mi compañero, como por mi hermano andaba; como el que trae luto por madre, enlutado me humillaba.

But in mine aduersitie they reioyced, and gathered them selues together: the abiects assembled themselues against me, and knewe not: they tare me and ceased not,
Pero ellos se alegraron en mi adversidad, y se juntaron; juntáronse contra mí gentes despreciables, y yo no lo entendía: despedazábanme, y no cesaban;
But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:

With the false skoffers at bankets, gnashing their teeth against me.
Con los lisonjeros escarnecedores truhanes, crujiendo sobre mí sus dientes.
With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Like the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed their teeth at me.
Lord, how long wilt thou beholde this? deliuer my soule from their tumult, euen my desolate soule from the lions.
Señor, ¿hasta cuándo verás esto? Recobra mi alma de sus quebrantamientos, mi única de los leones.
Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

So will I giue thee thankes in a great Congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
Te confesaré en grande congregación; te alabaré entre numeroso pueblo.

Let not them that are mine enemies, vniustly reioyce ouer mee, neyther let them winke with the eye, that hate mee without a cause.
No se alegren de mí mis enemigos injustos: ni los que me aborrecen sin causa hagan del ojo.
Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.
For they speake not as friendes: but they imagine deceitfull woordes against the quiet of the lande.
Porque no hablan paz; y contra los mansos de la tierra piensan palabras engañosas.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
For they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.
And they gaped on mee with their mouthes, saying, Aha, aha, our eye hath seene.
Y ensancharon sobre mí su boca; dijeron: ¡Ea, ea, nuestros ojos lo han visto!
Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

Thou hast seene it, O Lord: keepe not silence: be not farre from me, O Lord.
Tú lo has visto, oh Jehová; no calles: Señor, de mí no te alejes.
This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
You have seen it, LORD. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.
Arise and wake to my iudgement, euen to my cause, my God, and my Lord.
Muévete y despierta para mi juicio, para mi causa, Dios mío y Señor mío.
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! My Lord, contend for me!
Iudge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousnesse, and let them not reioyce ouer mee.
Júzgame conforme á tu justicia, Jehová Dios mío; y no se alegren de mí.
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Vindicate me, LORD my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.
Let them not say in their hearts, O our soule reioyce: neither let them say, We haue deuoured him.
No digan en su corazón: ¡Ea, alma nuestra! No digan: ¡Hémoslo devorado!
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
Don’t let them say in their heart, “Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say, “We have swallowed him up!”
Let them bee confounded, and put to shame together, that reioyce at mine hurt: let them bee clothed with confusion and shame, that lift vp themselues against me.
Avergüéncense, y sean confundidos á una los que de mi mal se alegran: vístanse de vergüenza y de confusión los que se engrandecen contra mí.
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.
But let them be ioyful and glad, that loue my righteousnesse: yea, let them say alway, Let the Lord be magnified, which loueth the prosperitie of his seruant.
Canten y alégrense los que están á favor de mi justa causa, y digan siempre: Sea ensalzado Jehová, que ama la paz de su siervo.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Let those who favor my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”
And my tongue shall vtter thy righteousnesse, and thy praise euery day.
Y mi lengua hablará de tu justicia, y de tu loor todo el día.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.
