Es müssen sich schämen und gehöhnet werden, die nach meiner Seele stehen; es müssen zurückkehren und zuschanden werden, die mir übelwollen.

Salmo de David. DISPUTA, oh Jehová, con los que contra mí contienden; pelea con los que me combaten.

Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.

Sie müssen werden wie Spreu vor dem Winde, und der Engel des HERRN stoße sie weg.

Echa mano al escudo y al pavés, y levántate en mi ayuda.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Ihr Weg müsse finster und schlüpfrig werden, und der Engel des HERRN verfolge sie.

Y saca la lanza, cierra contra mis perseguidores; di á mi alma: Yo soy tu salud.

Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, “I am your salvation.”

Denn sie haben mir ohne Ursache gestellet ihre Netze, zu verderben, und haben ohne Ursache meiner Seele Gruben zugerichtet.

Avergüéncense y confúndanse los que buscan mi alma: vuelvan atrás, y sean avergonzados los que mi mal intentan.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded.

Er müsse unversehens überfallen werden, und sein Netz, das er gestellet hat, müsse ihn fahen und müsse drinnen überfallen werden.

Sean como el tamo delante del viento; y el ángel de Jehová los acose.

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

Aber meine Seele müsse sich freuen des HERRN und fröhlich sein auf seine Hilfe.

Sea su camino oscuridad y resbaladeros; y el ángel de Jehová los persiga.

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

Alle meine Gebeine müssen sagen: HERR, wer ist deinesgleichen? Der du den Elenden errettest von dem, der ihm zu stark ist, und den Elenden und Armen von seinen Räubern.

Porque sin causa escondieron para mí su red en un hoyo; sin causa hicieron hoyo para mi alma.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

Es treten frevele Zeugen auf, die zeihen mich, des ich nicht schuldig bin.

Véngale el quebrantamiento que no sepa, y su red que escondió lo prenda: con quebrantamiento en ella caiga.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

Sie tun mir Arges um Gutes, mich in Herzeleid zu bringen.

Y gócese mi alma en Jehová; y alégrese en su salud.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Ich aber, wenn sie krank waren, zog einen Sack an, tat mir wehe mit Fasten und betete von Herzen stets.

Todos mis huesos dirán: Jehová, ¿quién como tú, que libras al afligido del más fuerte que él, y al pobre y menesteroso del que le despoja?

All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

All my bones shall say, “LORD, who is like you, who delivers the poor from him who is too strong for him; yes, the poor and the needy from him who robs him?”

Ich hielt mich, als wäre es mein Freund und Bruder; ich ging traurig wie einer, der Leid trägt über seine Mutter.

Levantáronse testigos falsos; demandáronme lo que no sabía;

False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don’t know about.

Sie aber freuen sich über meinen Schaden und rotten sich; es rotten sich die Hinkenden wider mich ohne meine Schuld; sie reißen und hören nicht auf.

Volviéronme mal por bien, para abatir á mi alma.

They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

They reward me evil for good, to the bereaving of my soul.

Mit denen, die da heucheln und spotten um des Bauchs willen, beißen sie ihre Zähne zusammen über mich.

Mas yo, cuando ellos enfermaron, me vestí de saco; afligí con ayuno mi alma, y mi oración se revolvía en mi seno.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

HERR, wie lange willst du zusehen? Errette doch meine Seele aus ihrem Getümmel und meine Einsame von den jungen Löwen.

Como por mi compañero, como por mi hermano andaba; como el que trae luto por madre, enlutado me humillaba.

I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.

Ich will dir danken in der großen Gemeine und unter viel Volks will ich dich rühmen.

Pero ellos se alegraron en mi adversidad, y se juntaron; juntáronse contra mí gentes despreciables, y yo no lo entendía: despedazábanme, y no cesaban;

But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:

Laß sich nicht über mich freuen, die mir unbillig feind sind, noch mit den Augen spotten, die mich ohne Ursache hassen.

Con los lisonjeros escarnecedores truhanes, crujiendo sobre mí sus dientes.

With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

Like the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed their teeth at me.

Denn sie trachten, Schaden zu tun und suchen falsche Sachen wider die Stillen im Lande;

Señor, ¿hasta cuándo verás esto? Recobra mi alma de sus quebrantamientos, mi única de los leones.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

und sperren ihr Maul weit auf wider mich und sprechen: Da, da! das sehen wir gerne.

Te confesaré en grande congregación; te alabaré entre numeroso pueblo.

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

I will give you thanks in the great assembly. I will praise you among many people.

HERR, du siehest es, schweige nicht; HERR, sei nicht ferne von mir!

No se alegren de mí mis enemigos injustos: ni los que me aborrecen sin causa hagan del ojo.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.

Erwecke dich und wache auf zu meinem Recht und zu meiner Sache, mein Gott und HERR!

Porque no hablan paz; y contra los mansos de la tierra piensan palabras engañosas.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

For they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

HERR, mein Gott, richte mich nach deiner Gerechtigkeit, daß sie sich über mich nicht freuen.

Y ensancharon sobre mí su boca; dijeron: ¡Ea, ea, nuestros ojos lo han visto!

Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

Laß sie nicht sagen in ihrem Herzen: Da, da! das wollten wir. Laß sie nicht sagen: Wir haben ihn verschlungen.

Tú lo has visto, oh Jehová; no calles: Señor, de mí no te alejes.

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

You have seen it, LORD. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.

Sie müssen sich schämen und zu Schanden werden, alle, die sich meines Übels freuen; sie müssen mit Schande und Scham gekleidet werden, die sich wider mich rühmen.

Muévete y despierta para mi juicio, para mi causa, Dios mío y Señor mío.

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! My Lord, contend for me!

Rühmen und freuen müssen sich, die mir gönnen, daß ich recht behalte, und immer sagen: Der HERR müsse hoch gelobet sein, der seinem Knechte wohl will!

Júzgame conforme á tu justicia, Jehová Dios mío; y no se alegren de mí.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

Vindicate me, LORD my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.

Und meine Zunge soll reden von deiner Gerechtigkeit und dich täglich preisen.

No digan en su corazón: ¡Ea, alma nuestra! No digan: ¡Hémoslo devorado!

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

Don’t let them say in their heart, “Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say, “We have swallowed him up!”

Ein Psalm Davids, des HERRN Knechts, vorzusingen.

Avergüéncense, y sean confundidos á una los que de mi mal se alegran: vístanse de vergüenza y de confusión los que se engrandecen contra mí.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.

Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.

Es ist von Grund meines Herzens von der Gottlosen Wesen gesprochen, daß keine Gottesfurcht bei ihnen ist.

Canten y alégrense los que están á favor de mi justa causa, y digan siempre: Sea ensalzado Jehová, que ama la paz de su siervo.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Let those who favor my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”

Sie schmücken sich untereinander selbst, daß sie ihre böse Sache fördern und andere verunglimpfen.

Y mi lengua hablará de tu justicia, y de tu loor todo el día.

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.
