De David. Eternel, entre en lutte avec mes adversaires, combats ceux qui me font la guerre.

Salmo de David. DISPUTA, oh Jehová, con los que contra mí contienden; pelea con los que me combaten.

Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.

Arme-toi du bouclier et de l’écu, lève-toi pour me secourir.

Echa mano al escudo y al pavés, y levántate en mi ayuda.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Brandis ta lance et ferme †tout accès à mes persécuteurs, dis à mon âme: "Je suis ton sauveur."

Y saca la lanza, cierra contra mis perseguidores; di á mi alma: Yo soy tu salud.

Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, “I am your salvation.”

Qu’ils soient confus et honteux, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie! Qu’ils lâchent pied et reculent, en rougissant, ceux qui méditent mon malheur!

Avergüéncense y confúndanse los que buscan mi alma: vuelvan atrás, y sean avergonzados los que mi mal intentan.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded.

Qu’ils soient comme le chaume emporté par le vent, et que l’ange du Seigneur les pourchasse!

Sean como el tamo delante del viento; y el ángel de Jehová los acose.

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

Que leur chemin soit sombre et glissant, et que l’ange du Seigneur soit à leurs trousses!

Sea su camino oscuridad y resbaladeros; y el ángel de Jehová los persiga.

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

Car gratuitement ils m’ont dressé leur filet meurtrier, gratuitement ils m’ont creusé †une fosse.

Porque sin causa escondieron para mí su red en un hoyo; sin causa hicieron hoyo para mi alma.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

Qu’une catastrophe fonde sur eux à l’improviste; qu’ils soient pris dans le filet qu’ils ont dressé et précipités dans la ruine!

Véngale el quebrantamiento que no sepa, y su red que escondió lo prenda: con quebrantamiento en ella caiga.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

Alors mon âme se réjouira en l’Eternel, elle sera pleine d’allégresse à cause de son secours.

Y gócese mi alma en Jehová; y alégrese en su salud.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Tous mes membres diront: "Seigneur, qui est comme toi?" Tu défends le pauvre contre un plus fort que lui, le malheureux et l’indigent contre leur spoliateur.

Todos mis huesos dirán: Jehová, ¿quién como tú, que libras al afligido del más fuerte que él, y al pobre y menesteroso del que le despoja?

All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

All my bones shall say, “LORD, who is like you, who delivers the poor from him who is too strong for him; yes, the poor and the needy from him who robs him?”

Des témoins pervers se lèvent: ils m’interrogent sur ce que j’ignore.

Levantáronse testigos falsos; demandáronme lo que no sabía;

False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don’t know about.

Ils me récompensent en rendant le mal pour le bien: on veut me réduire à l’isolement.

Volviéronme mal por bien, para abatir á mi alma.

They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

They reward me evil for good, to the bereaving of my soul.

Tandis que moi, quand ils étaient malades, je portais un cilice comme vêtement, je mortifiais mon âme par le jeûne, et ma prière se renouvelait dans mon cœur;

Mas yo, cuando ellos enfermaron, me vestí de saco; afligí con ayuno mi alma, y mi oración se revolvía en mi seno.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

comme s’il se fût agi d’un ami, d’un frère à moi, je vaguais çà et là; comme si je fusse en deuil d’une mère, j’étais tristement courbé †vers le sol.

Como por mi compañero, como por mi hermano andaba; como el que trae luto por madre, enlutado me humillaba.

I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.

Et eux, ils se réjouissent en bande de ma chute; des misérables s’attroupent contre moi à l’improviste, ils me déchirent sans relâche.

Pero ellos se alegraron en mi adversidad, y se juntaron; juntáronse contra mí gentes despreciables, y yo no lo entendía: despedazábanme, y no cesaban;

But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:

En vrais hypocrites, en railleurs gloutons, ils grincent des dents contre moi.

Con los lisonjeros escarnecedores truhanes, crujiendo sobre mí sus dientes.

With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

Like the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed their teeth at me.

Seigneur, combien de temps le verras-tu? Protège mon âme contre leurs violences, mon bien le plus précieux contre les lionceaux.

Señor, ¿hasta cuándo verás esto? Recobra mi alma de sus quebrantamientos, mi única de los leones.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destruction, my precious life from the lions.

Je t’en rendrai grâce dans une grande assemblée, je t’en louerai au milieu d’un peuple nombreux.

Te confesaré en grande congregación; te alabaré entre numeroso pueblo.

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

I will give you thanks in the great assembly. I will praise you among many people.

Qu’ils ne triomphent pas à mon sujet, ceux qui me haïssent sans motif! Qu’ils ne puissent me lancer de mauvais regards, ceux qui me détestent pour rien!

No se alegren de mí mis enemigos injustos: ni los que me aborrecen sin causa hagan del ojo.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.

Car leurs paroles ne sont pas des paroles de paix; contre les gens paisibles du pays ils trament des perfidies;

Porque no hablan paz; y contra los mansos de la tierra piensan palabras engañosas.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

For they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

et contre moi ils ouvrent une large bouche, disant: "Ha! Ha! nous l’avons vu de nos yeux!"

Y ensancharon sobre mí su boca; dijeron: ¡Ea, ea, nuestros ojos lo han visto!

Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said, “Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it!”

Toi aussi, tu l’as vu, ô Eternel! Ne garde pas le silence; Seigneur, ne te tiens pas éloigné de moi.

Tú lo has visto, oh Jehová; no calles: Señor, de mí no te alejes.

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

You have seen it, LORD. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.

Mets-toi en mouvement, réveille-toi, pour me rendre justice; mon Dieu et mon maître, défends ma cause.

Muévete y despierta para mi juicio, para mi causa, Dios mío y Señor mío.

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! My Lord, contend for me!

Juge-moi selon ton équité, Eternel, mon Dieu; qu’ils ne puissent se gausser de moi!

Júzgame conforme á tu justicia, Jehová Dios mío; y no se alegren de mí.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

Vindicate me, LORD my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.

Qu’ils ne disent point en leur cœur: "Ha! Tel était notre souhait!" Qu’ils ne disent pas: "Nous l’avons ruiné!"

No digan en su corazón: ¡Ea, alma nuestra! No digan: ¡Hémoslo devorado!

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

Don’t let them say in their heart, “Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say, “We have swallowed him up!”

Qu’ils soient confus et couverts de honte, tous ensemble, ceux qui se réjouissent de mon malheur; qu’ils soient vêtus d’opprobre et d’infamie, ceux qui font les fiers contre moi!

Avergüéncense, y sean confundidos á una los que de mi mal se alegran: vístanse de vergüenza y de confusión los que se engrandecen contra mí.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.

Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.

Mais puissent-ils jubiler et se réjouir, ceux qui souhaitent mon salut! Qu’ils redisent sans cesse: "Grand est l’Eternel, qui veut la paix de son serviteur!"

Canten y alégrense los que están á favor de mi justa causa, y digan siempre: Sea ensalzado Jehová, que ama la paz de su siervo.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Let those who favor my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”

Quant à moi, ma langue proclamera ta justice; tout le long du jour, tes louanges.

Y mi lengua hablará de tu justicia, y de tu loor todo el día.

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.
